| went in yesterday to reserve a shirt and hey said that they can't get hold of kooga.
the kits have left the factory, but whilst being shipped the weather has slowed it down. they are expecting them any day.
also was shocked, as I know they were limited edition with only a limited number but can't believe how many shirts they are bringing in! only 1000!!!!

| 1000 doesn't make sense to me. We've got a hard core support of around 2500-3000 and the sad thing is that the majority will miss out on what will ultimately become a piece of the club's heritage. Come on reds, give something back to the fans. 5000 would be more like it.

Sounds perfectly sensible to me - a 33% take up would, I suspect, be better than any other shirt sale the club have had - and presumably, if the demand does get higher they can just order more?

| 1000 seems like a good sensible number to me. garaunteed to sell out with no loss of money.

| yes i know people who have supported Salford all their lives but wouldn't dream of buying a shirt let alone wearing a free one.

| I hate to be the one to point this out but perhaps Salford only ordering a 1000 shirts goes to show their lack of faith in their fan base :/
I know theres nothing wrong with "playing it safe" , as they can always order more but surely the early indication of Season ticket sales would have been a good indication

or perhaps Salford know their fanbase and know that a lot will only buy a season ticket and that is it, we are not like Wigan where people wear the club shirt on a daily basis, Salford have tried many different items to sell from the shop, look at the end of year 100's of items left, only one or two of certain things sell.
A very good example is the half time draw, the average prize is 200 quid that means the club sells about 400 tickets per match which is only about 8% of the average crowd, that is a way of supporting the club but over 90% can't be bothered.

Sack the board, sack McRae and get Simms out he should be doing something about it instead of having free holidays to Australia.

| I'd say they're being optimistic with 1000 if true. Rather that than not having enough though I guess.
