| I know that some doubt maybe my commitment on here but in my minds eye I am as RED through and through as any of you.
I have never been so embarrassed and ashamed as when I trudged out of the Willows tonight.
I spent my very hard earned money watching a team who are having all creativity and passion drilled out of them, a team lacking in coached self confidence and a team who seem to be bereft of the basic knowledge in the fundamentals of common sense rugby league.
Mcrae seems to be hell bent on turning Salford into Cannon fodder for the lesser lights of super league, a team who darent show the slightest passion for the game and a team who waste the god given talents the players so obviously have.
I have played in amateur teams where the forwards hit the ball with more aggression, seen part time half backs create more opportunities and generally watched junior teams with more passion for the game and their fellow players.
I stand here to be shot down but call on Mcrae to step down, he is inept and is close to being the person most responsible for bring about the demise of Salford Rugby League Club.
Mcrae you should be utterly ashamed of yourself and if you have an ounce of decency in your body then you would set the players, the club and above all us supporters free.
I can't say I will not attend the next home game, but I can say that for the first time in my life I feel like booing anything acossicated to my beloved Salford every time that Mcrae slides across the pitch with his inane grin there for all to see.
If John Wilky does get any feed back from this site then please heed what we are saying and save yourself (as the continued falliour of the club will reflect terribly on you), the clubs good name and us the loyal and paying fans from further shame and heartache.

| I hear what your saying and I agree Mcrae needs to consider his future for the benefit of the LONG term future of the club , I thought Ratchford was better tonight although Adamson all of a sudden seems to have no impact in attack or defence , I think he is a future captain but does not seem to have kicked on from such a great season last year.

| Michingan red, I could have not put it better myself, our club is dying on its feet.
Angry & numb, & I am not sure I want to take much more of this.
Ready for the abuse, expect the comment to f... ..f then, remember a lot have already done so & lot more will follow.
McRae out!

| An honest post, I have similar feelings. Players with potential have suddenly turned into no hopers, and the downward spiral continues.
I dont know what the answers are, but the Franchise isn't working for us is it?

| I'm one who generally has defended the club and the directors - many fans on here have no idea of the commercial realities of running a business and staying in business ....
BUT
Tonight was just totally inept - I can't see where a win is coming from, I can't see why any half decent player should want to play for Salford, I can't see the point of a shiny new stadium if the team haven't got the will to win
Are the players all really poor?
Is it just the coaching - there seems such a lack of direction and confidence in the team
So a question for the board of directors & the management & coaching staff - "do you know what is going wrong?" - If you do, then what are you going to do about it, if you don't then what are you going to do about yourselves?

| Yeah, Michigan Red has summed up the feelings of many, many supporters.
Is the season over after 5 games..............I think so. The one thing I have really missed is the PASSSION the players used to show, even in defeat. Oh! for the likes of Rutgerson.
I feel like the lifeblood is being drained out of the club at the moment. It's much more than the usual ups and downs of following Salford. It feels TERMINAL!!!!

| Quote: Jaymc9 "it was more duneman than harrison mate, we had a good start the season we made the play offs but won hardly any games in the second half of the season.'"
Dunneman was class and he was Harrisons signing.
All I will say is I had so much more enjoyment and passion following Salford a couple of years back than I do at present and Michigan Red sums up the feelings of many of us perfectly in his post.
