Dont know how to do a link(Chico tired of showing me) but the Salford City Garden Party is on this Saturday 19th September 12-4pm on the lawns outside the Civic Centre Swinton, lots going on , Salford players in attendance & maybe a game of tag rugby +other activities, face painting,dancing groups,pet pooch comp for the title of "hot dog"
Also the opportunity to ask questions to a panel of leading politicians & also senior members from the Salford crime Reduction Partnership.

And I believe that there will also be a "Get Hazel out" protest taking place

"Hazel out" protesters have no sense of etiquette and don't really care about who they drive away, even Martin Bell has walked away from them after one meeting. Some of the members have their own agenda to try and get themselves elected as MP and most likely do the same despite what they say now, thats life.

Nobody is going to be walking on the grass are they?

What a waste of time that was

The garden party as a whole was a bit pants but the sports section at the end was good. My son and nephew had a great time playing rugby and cricket. Thanks to the lads for turning up and being so good with the kids.

When i got there they were just stood about chatting to themselves and as for the stand just a table of crap they havent shifted throughout the season.The cricket stand was far better and were far more intrested in getting my son involved.

Well my son had a great time. He had a go at the rugby obstacle course and there was a long queue for that from about 12.30 when I arrived until about 2.15 when I left. Perhaps you caught the guy's when they were a little jaded having been there all day.... I don't know?

All I can say is that the lads were great with my son and it was great to see a good turn out rather than just the academy lads.
Well done to Malc Alker, Luke Swain, Ian Sibbit, Adam Sidlow, Stefan Ratchford, Dean McGilveray and Luke Adamson.
