No apologies for bringing up this topic again but the last I read a March 09 start date was stated. If this is still on then we must know a date, you just dont decide one night to start next morning, a lot of things have to be ordered and set up. Will someone tell us if March is a start.

john Wilkinson said we will start the 2010 super league season at the willows, playing there for the 1st month, after a 60 week build of the new stadium.
do the maths, as the yanks would say.

Yes thats what I read but cant find the quote yet, 60 week build from this weekend takes us to end April 2010 - so not much chance of being in after a month of the new season.

it's looking more likely that we'll be at the willows again all next season and possilbly be in the new stadium for the start of the 2011 season! fingers crossed!

If you started building tommorrow you might just make mid 2011 season , to build on that site with all the infrastructure involved is a 2 year build
Not a 'pop' just cold hard facts

On a flat well drained prepared site with good access yes things can fly up
That is not the case at Barton , the stadium structure itself then yes it would be possible as long as there were no problems
I'm not trolling , just telling you how it is , I wouldn't worry too much as long as it is started by mid 2011 you will be fine |
