| If, as reported, Widnes have offered Smith £140,000? Let him go, he's not worth that amount of cash and Widnes seem desperate. That's the sort of money we spend on players of Patten's calibre, who, in my opinion, is in a different league to Smith.
Of the three players listed, I'd like to see the club concentrate on keeping hold of Williams. Too often the club seems incapable of investing wisely in the forwards. Two props should be top priority. We complain about the teams fringe defence, but it all stems from our weekness through the middle.
Wild, Jewitt, Ashurst are the only players who have shown they are good enough on a consistant basis. McPherson, Gledhill and Anderson have shown their ability, but need stay injury free. Given the amount of changes, it looks like the club needs to make, I'd give Anderson another year, if his price is right. It's a damn shame Sidlow is weighed down by his flaws, such a good player in patches, but so flawed at the same time.

| Would be really sad to see Williams & Gleeson leave. Gleeson has been great for me attacking wise his ability to offload the ball is quality needs to work on defence but I’d like to see him sign. Same with Williams he for me is better than Broughton and I honestly don’t see who will be brought in that could do a better job.
Smith would let him leave poor kicking game and defiantly not worth 140k Jesus!

I would be surprised about Williams to Bradford with the Bulls possibly entering administration and questions about the head coach for 2013.

| Really couldn't give a stuff about Smith if he wants to move on... He's 90% of the time just a pivot player for me... can't see what the attraction is in the big clubs wanting to sign him.
I'll be gutted to see Gleeson and Williams leave after Salford gave them both chances to resurrect their careers.

| think it's now time to get a final decision from matty and if his choice is to leave then the coaching staff should use the rest of the season to see if the A team players are good enough to play at the higher level

| Can't sign/register new players currently can we? I would presume this applies to our out of contract players as well as any new signings?

When he went to Saints for the play offs he beat wire on his own that game

we can, we signed theo and owen last month on new contracts. Bradford seems an interesting choice, they are short of half a million on what they needed to find by the end of April but are still here. Lookks like they are going to pay over the odds again for players and try and get the Rugby League to bail them out.

| He can be a quality player, on his day, but his day is far too infrequent and his one on one defence can be poor. He will be a loss, but not a massive one. Maybe Smith's deaprture is the reason they gave Theo a long term deal.

| If Smith doesn't want to stay, put Sneyd or Fages in starting from tomorrow.

So you'd rather stay at Salford with a lower salary playing in front of an empty stadium with a cowardly pack, with nothing to play for each year with numpties running the show, i know where i'd rather be.
