| No, not the new timepiece for sale on the Salford Online store but a play off look at our new signing for next year.
Report on his first half effort tonight...... Very little with ball in hand but one laughable attempt at a tackle. Hope he works his fat ar$e off in pre-season as looking way too porky for my liking!

| You must be watching a different player than me.
He missed one tackle in the first half, after making 2 consecutive tackles.
He's come on in the 2nd half and been fairly decent.
He's doing his fair share of work, in both attack and defence.
He is what he is, and I'll say one last thing, he obviously ain't no mug to be playing in this Wigan side.
Could any of us do better ?

32990_1435324474.jpg First accept sadness. Realise that without losing 70% of the time, winning wouldn't be such a relief.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_32990.jpg |

| I agree and was quite surprised how many tackles he actually made. I also think of all the forwards on the pitch tonight he looked the most powerful and hardest to stop.
Hull KR were too weak in the outside backs, I don't know about Mason I think they need a couple of new centres and a winger.

3596.jpg this will not be the end, or even the beginning of the end.
It is merely the end of the beginning

Think you should have waited until the final hooter to make any comments! Lets face it he only plays 15 - 20 mins each half and is a huge impact player! Kept Wigan going forward in the whole of his second half stint and made some very good tackles along with plenty of meters with ball in hand!
I'm looking forward to that kind of effort next season!

Just an observation Blackcat, certainly not a criticism. He was far better 2nd half and made 2/3 decent runs, putting Vela on his at one point, but I still think that with his natural bulk he should drop half a stone & he'd be even more devastating.

| You may be right, but perhaps his natural physique won't allow him to downsize and still be effective. As I said, he is what he is.
I'm with Black Cat on this, thinking that Palea'asina will be sure to get the crowd going next year.

| He also takes at least at least 4 players to take him down and wants to off_load so i hope Matty Smith and our new hooker (sorry cant remember his name) are made aware of this

| It was blatantly obvious this season that we made about 3 metres per tackle, while the good sides made 10. Feka can make a big difference in this area.

| i was at the game last night i thought he did ok but it was clear 2 see that his fitness isnt the best every time he tackled it seemed 2 be a struggle for him 2 get back in the defencive line and when the play stopped he looked out on his feet! i know hes a good impact player but you should expect more from a super league standard player i hope mcrae can get him a bit fitter and get the best out of him because he can get away with it a bit at wigan with the other good players around him, will he be ok in our new salford team is another question

| He played at least 20 mins in the 2nd half which is better than most of us thought he did.
We need a variety of players and Feka will make some yards for us.

| Looking forward to seeing him in a Salford shirt next season.
There were a couple of times last night when he sent KR players flying from the collision and it took 3 or 4 to take him down.
As mentioned already in this thread, we need to get into the habit if having other players running with the man with the ball. One of the most frustrating things about us is that despite playing a lot of one-man rugby this season, in the instances where the player with the ball has looked to offload, in a lot of cases there's either been no-one there so they've had to take the tackle, the offload has been made but none of our players are near it so the opposition manage to fall on the ball or a player hasn't been expecting the offload so they've knocked it on.
