I've just had an e-mail off Martin Vickers which announces the signing of Daniel Vidot from Brisbane Broncos.

I don't know too much about him. Is he a decent signing?

Quality signing.Really powerful player 6ft 2inch 105kg can play wing or centre.Him and Carney are going to be a real handful for any defence if we can get the ball out to them.

Carney, Johnson, MCB, Griffin, Sau, Vidot. 6 into 4 will not go, maybe MCB is on his way out?

Doesn't surprise me that Sheens wants an Aussie style centres and wingers for next season. Sau, Carney, Vidot and Griffin are big units. Backline already looks much stronger than last season imo.

Very happy with that signing, as said there is some power and pace in that backline with Carney, Sa'u, Griffin and Vidot. Johnson, MCB and Bibby will provide cover and back-up which as we know after last season is crucial.

Just need to wait for the forwards to be announced now.

We just need Michael Dobson and Robert Lui to create the openings for them. with Evalds on their shoulders sniffing half chances. It is looking good on paper, just need to transfer it to the grass.

And he will have something to prove against Wigan as was dropped for a mistake against them last winter.

Jokes aside he is a very good player who i would have loved to replace Carney but looks like we will be bargain hunting again.
For what its worth i think getting rid of your Kiwi Clique will do you the world of good and signing players with a point to prove rather than players after a payday, i think you will go well this year and i sorta hope you do for Tim Sheens sake.

Vidot must have a good enough character for the WWE to offer him a contract.
