| There will obviously be some squad rotation as there will be with every team. I think we need to be going all out in both games to be honest, we’ve not beaten one of the ‘big 4’ at home at the new stadium yet so it would be nice to beat either Wigan or Leeds in the next couple of weeks. I don’t expect Locke to play two games over the Easter period, I’d also be surprised if Cory Paterson, Ben Jones-Bishop and Junior Sa’u stay fit over the two games and I also don’t expect Morley to feature in both.
It wouldn’t surprise me if we use Theo and Hood as the two hookers for the Wigan game with Tommy Lee used as loose forward, overall I can’t see there being too many changes over the two games. Hopefully Wigan put everything into the Saints game and pick up a couple of knocks and we stay relatively ‘fresh’.
For Huddersfield I’d go with:
1. Kevin Locke
2. Greg Jonson
3. Mason Caton-Brown
4. Josh Griffin
5. Ben Jones-Bishop
6. Rangi Chase
7. Michael Dobson
8. Lama Tasi
9. Tommy Lee
10. Scott Taylor
11. Cory Paterson
12. Weller Hauraki
13. Harrison Hanson
14. Jordan Walne
15. Darrell Griffin
16. Carl Foster
17. Liam Hood
For Wigan depending on injuries/fitness/performance against Huddersfield:
1. Niall Evalds
2. Greg Jonson
3. Junior Sa’u
4. Josh Griffin
5. Ben Jones-Bishop
6. Rangi Chase
7. Michael Dobson
8. Adrian Morley
9. Tommy Lee
10. Lama Tasi
11. Cory Paterson
12. Weller Hauraki
13. Harrison Hansen
14. Liam Hood
15. Scott Taylor
16. Jordan Walne
17. Carl Foster/Darrell Griffin

| You are making the assumption Jordan Walne is fit. I understood he picked up a serious eye injury at Castleford.

| The question for me is do you target one easter fixture or both? I know you should always select a team to win but would you take one result from these two tough games right now? For instance if we played a very under strength reserve team at Huddersfield could we target Wigan at home with 10-12 fresh players. Surely Wigan will still be feeling the effects of an undoubtedly tough physical derby encounter with Saints 3 days prior, and this would be a much easier proposition than usual.
Tough decision, one extra win could be the difference between making the 8 or not come the end of the regular season? I must say we are long overdue a good performance/result against Wigan.

Probably not. I'm embarrassed at the way TP has been treated this season, there is no legitimate reason as why he shouldn't be in contention. We're paying his wages, he's training week in week out, so surely it makes sense to use him.

I'd forgotten all about him, shame really as he started to show some decent form during the backend of last season.

| I think Harris may have too. Has he been dropped down the back of the sofa?

| Could it be Puletua isn't figuring because we have no space on the quota this year? Perhaps he's still around because he's contracted and we have the option of drafting him in if another overseas player picks up an injury?
We brought in Dobson and Paterson and lost Rapira and McPherson, the latter didn't count on the quota.

| It's because TP has retired due to a long term injury and is on the coaching staff for the last year of his vontract. Hence Harris never brought in anyone externally to replace long

If this is true why didn't the club have a press release about it? Seems a little odd.

| Because he's on a playing contract and if he can get over the injury later in the season we may get a game or two out of him. He's an old warhorse and needs looking after, I agree about his form towards the end of last year. Would love to get a few good games outta the old boy

Sorry to go slighty off track but I honestly think that is what we need as a club to get the average joe in Salford behind us. We beat Huddersfield last year, but to the average man, Huddersfield are a poor club with same reputation as ourselfs. If we manage to beat a Wigan or Leeds, thats when I think people will start taking a genuine interest and hopefully start gettin 5k plus crowds.

Is this true? Seems a totally different story from the one TP told me a few months ago. He basically said Harris informed him before the season that he wouldn't be considered for selection, despite training hard in pre-season and feeling 100% fit and ready to go. Infact, it was all set to go to a tribunal for constructive dismissal.
