Does anybody know if we will be getting any of our injured players back on Friday?

Really looking forward to the game, Wigan are a class outfit, it’s always good to watch players like Tomkins/Richards up close.

I honestly feel if we have a few players back from injury it will be a real good game. Wigan will go into it hot favourites, but you never know! Friday night can`t come quick enough, plus I reckon they will bring around 2000 from pie land, should be a good atmosphere.

COME ON THE REDS!!!!

If we're to stand any sort of chance, then we've got to match their physicality.

It seems likely that Richards may miss the game due to injury.I also think Wigan may ensure the fitness of others as they probably wouldn't want to lose to coach-less St Helens at Easter.

Bearing in mind we have done very well without Ben Gledhill and Shannan McPherson, our much maligned pack are proving their critics wrong.Long may it continue.

A close game is in store on Friday I reckon. We have points in us but we look like conceding most times teams get anywhere near our line and we've been littered with bouts of panic rugby leading to errors and daft penalty give aways. Don't get me wrong I don't think we're far of clicking and I'm confident we can challenge for silverware but we just look like a side that you can hang in against at the moment in the hope we'll shoot ourselves in the foot.

Add in the fact that in patches you've been in very good form and this could go either way. If we win it then I can't see more then 6-10 points between the sides.

Looking forward to it.

Agreed, no easy games in SL, will be a tough game, we need to win after last week.

I've just noticed that Lauaki has been banned, so that may do us a little favour.

More like do Wigan a favour, the guy is a penalty machine. Mossop will come in for him, twice the player he is.

True, Wigan fans I've spoke to are chuffed he won't be involved , especially in their Derby game, guarranteed to have lost possession a couple of times & given away 2 or 3 penalties.

Wrong.
Up until Friday he had only conceded two penalties this season (and one of those was for thumping Ryan Bailey icon_biggrin.gif), and played well.
The forearm incident has now been looked by the disciplinary and it shouldn't have been a penalty, otherwise it would have been mentioned on the charge sheet, just as Morleys was.

Laukai was rightly punished for the lift in the tackle.

"The forearm incident has now been looked by the disciplinary and it shouldn't have been a penalty"

Are you serious? It shouldn`t have been a penalty? Staight elbow to the chops, he should have got a straight red. Fair enough he might have been playing well in the previous games, but you can`t say he didn`t cost you the game against Wire. I would take Mossop over him any day of the week.

Doesn`t matter anyway, Feka will destroy your pack Friday night icon_smile.gif

Mossop concedes far more penalties than Lauaki.
