| It'd have been nice to have got one of Italy's games just so our very own Carlo Napolitano could bring his boys to visit and that would have put a few bums on seats (not that any of the hierachy in RL would think of that! ) besides there's a decent Italian population within Greater Manchester to target 2nd only to London in the UK with about 25k!
As for Scotland v USA I'll give it a go.

| How come Scotland can't play fixtures in Scotland? havn't thier been games in Hamilton before now? I can see that Cumbria is close but why on earth not play games actually in Scotland.
The Scotland and USA at Salford you'd hope that the RFL offer incentives to some of the bigger American employers who have implants in the NW, bank of NY in town I know has a fair few people from Aemerica working there, might be an oppertunity to get a few new fans down to Salford.

Did anywhere in Scotland submit an application to host a game?

Well he's still the head coach as we speak so after getting them through qualification I'm not sure why they'd get rid

You'd have thought so, would think someone on the Scottish RL board would have seen the oppertunity to advance the image of the game up there and especially as the RU team are easy beats at the moment.
