| If you sign Kriss you have one hell of a player who knows where the try line is.

| I would presume that if we sign this guy it spells the end for Tompkins and Lee for next year. Would be really happy to have 3 young dynamic hookers in Brinning, wood and Wilkinson who can put the team on the front foot.

| Tomkins is on a 1 year deal I think, not sure when Lee's runs out. I wonder if Lee might be kept on. He's highly though of by Watson and Sheens and has been central to our attacking structures and our top tackler before injury
Will be a big step up for Brinning, Wilkinson yet to make his debut and Wood only just getting going. Will need some experience to help bring them through

| Could be making his debut earlier than though. Might be Magic weekend but most likely Wakefield at home.

| I for one would not feel Lee is a loss, he is guaranteed a long injury each year due to his age. I personally don't want a tackling machine at acting half. I want a 9 who can scoot and worry defences, Lee cannot do this. He maybe a leader but let's buy some and surround our kids with them!

| Looking at tonight we do realy miss a good hooker to get us on the front foot. Tomkins does well to set up plays etc but he's just too slow. Putting a lot on Brinning to provide us this.

| I like Lee, he's done far better than I thought he would, but totally agree 9 is such a pivotal position we need someone with zip.
I still think there is a place for Lee in the squad though, he has something to offer p

| Quite impressed with the first impressions of this Yorkshire kid, I'd keep Tommy Lee for obvious reasons sharing equal game time with the hope of Brinning phasing out Tommy within time, then Josh Wood coming in to share the role with Brinning in due course. Sack the route of buying NRL superstars, there's the odd gem knocking about the lower leagues if they're intricately scouted properly...

| Lee is only 28 & can play 6,9 & 13 - good in the dressing room and a solid individual. Surely Certain to be retained.

| So have we definately signed this kid, what a positive bit of news he looks pretty useful with bags of potential.
I agree with all the comments on TL, he'd be a good interchange with this kid, with Josh Wood / Wilkinson as back up.

| Can we justify have 4 hookers in the squad tho?
Releasing TL would free up space on the cap and I personally don't think hes all that as a player. No speed, not good enough for Halves, to small for pack to offer and punch and with regards to leadership I think we can bring some in who are of a higher quality.
Hes a nice guy, works hard, but has a very milited skill set and for me its time to move him on.

| I think hopefuly if we get Gallen he can be the one to provide all the leadership that Lee has. Again like a few post have put i would rather see two nippy hooker playing like Wire does with Clark and Dwyer. For me it would be Wood at 9 and Brining off the bench.

| I think we'll see Wilkinson gradually fazed in at the back end of the season towards the middle 8s. Tomorrow York play Crusaders so it will be good to see two of our future hookers on show.
