| Does anyone know how many season tickets were sold last season?
According to the Dr we have already sold more season tickets now with 4 weeks left than we did the whole of last season.
Well done to the club.

| That news doesn't seem to be making the headlines in the same way as when he said we weren't selling enough
I hope he's right and well done to the club if we have

| 1,750 sold, bottom of the table below Wakey (2,000) Found this in a link on the Wakey board called Running Rugby, I know you won't enjoy this article but its worth visiting the site as there is some very interesting stuff on there.

That doesn't say our target is 1750. Not the most helpful of articles, there's an awful lot of speculation in it. At the bottom it says that where clubs haven't co-operated they have taken an estimate based on views from those in the industry and based on previous years (aka 'a guess'). It's not really clear which clubs have co-operated. Koukash has said we've sold more than last year so if we really did sell 2500 last year then it shouldn't be 1750 at this point in 2015.
Anyhow it's all smoke and mirrors by everyone, wouldn't be the first time Koukash has got confused (shall we say) about figures and numbers, equally the article is speculative to say the least
Not sure why there can't be a transparent system in place so that all clubs have to report how many they've sold?

| Why are rugby league fans so obsessed with season ticket sales, home attendence, poor away following? I don't think it's rocket science that we traditionally don't sell many ST, that down to many reasons from non exsistant marketing to poor results. All I know is I've got mine, if it bothered people so much why don'g we play ST top trumps, at least we'll know what number we sold then.

| News was we sold 2200 last year and this year we've made sold more my guess would be around 2500. We wont see a massive increase until we deliver on the pitch hopefully that will be this season.

| Yep its nice to see the figures for season ticket sales increasing, however for those who work shifts etc and unfortunately have to miss the odd home game then unfortunately its not always the best option. The only way I see it for the likes of me and maybe one or two others, is say the ticket holder (if he or she is unable to attend) to be able to nominate the ticket transfer to another family member or friend for that specific game. The fee has already been paid and at least it gets another interested party through the turnstile, who just maybe, want to go again under there own steam etc.
I am going to the Warrington game and then the first home game against Saints, but I am taking 3 new faces to Salford for the first time. Can we all just try to introduce a friend for the first game, so as to generate interest and hopefully a bumper crowd.

| I am afraid that Salford still have a long way to go before they attract more season ticket holders. The old apathy of could not care less is still ingrained.
Last August I renewed my season ticket and was told the seats in the East stand were now on a reserved basis. So along with a number of friends, so we could sit together, we reserved or seats all at the same time. In October I got an email confirming my seat numbers and asked if I wanted to have more preferable seats I should go on the web site and choose. I emailed back saying I did not want to change. NO REPLY received. At the open day when the tickets were collected they had seats that were no where near the booked ones. When I enquired about my reserved seats I just got 'they must have been sold to someone else' To make sure I was at least near to my friends I arranged other tickets while I got things sorted. Rang the club next day and got nowhere Replies like 'Are you not satisfied with the seats you have' 'Don't know what happened' and when I asked them to check when my seats had been sold they said 'cannot do that as they have been sold to someone' I gave up when I was told 'In any case we have only sold 90 tickets so you will be able to sit where you like'.
On the 15th December I sent an email with my complaint to the club, wrote a letter to Martin Vickers and sent a copy to Dr. Koukash. NO REPLIES. On the 22nd I sent an email via the web site asking them to contact Mr. Vickers and ask him to reply. NO REPLY 12th Jan I sent an email direct to Martin Vickers attaching my letters asking for a reply. NO REPLY This week sent a further email to Mr Vickers asking for the courtesy of a reply.. NO REPLY. I am a long time supporter and even I am about to give up on them.

| This typifies what frustrates me as a Salford fan.
We seem to always be just nearly, never all the way just nearly.
A club the size of Salford should be able to reply too all emails within 24hrs, it's not like it's a multi national who get countless emails/inquiries every day.

| It's all well a good trying to raise awareness with costly new marketing initiatives but if you can't be bothered to attend to your existing customers what hope is there?

So true, for all the marketing schemes not doing the basics right often does more harm than these schemes bring in the benefits stake.
How many of us think Sunday will go smoothly?
