I mentioned this today, I've still never received any info regarding season tickets, I honestly believe the club have been lazy, careless and not too bothered about next season. It feels like after the last game the whole club went on holiday not just the players!

We should have been building the week leading up to the final game and once we had a captive audience (of over 10k) we should have forced the season tickets, I can't recall a time I've been so disenchanted with the club and the complete lack of, well anything really!

Although not brilliant the club did hand out leaflets about the new ground & season tickets at last game against the Catalans. They should really be having full page ads in the MEN every week at least once a week with prices on and also on radio stations every day.

Are you sure that there was stuff about season tickets on it? The leaflet I have talks about where it is, how to get there, and what facilities it will have, but nothing on season tickets (oh, and it also used a photo of the one player we definitely knew wouldn't be playing for us next season).

The words Farcical, Inept and Unprofessional spring to mind. Oh well, if the club aren't bothered, why on earth should anyone else be ? icon_sad.gif

We've had a similar thread not long ago. At that time it seemed from some sources that the Club were to hold some kind of launch programme in October. Well, October's half way through and nothing has transpired so far, and why does that not come as any surprise?

All us long standing and long suffering fans are only too aware of how poor our beloved Club are at marketing and promoting our marvellous product. Is it any wonder we continue to struggle to attract new fans, let alone informing existing supporters what's going on.

We left the Willows on a low note and the Club by their continued inaction have continued to compound it. It's no good moaning about it because nothing is ever going to change as long as our inept background Staff continue to manage our affairs. I'm afraid the loyal supporters among us are just going to have to make the usual effort to find out what's going on by ourselves or wait in the forlorn hope that we may indeed be contacted at some point with any details or offers.

I don't know if the Stadium has been officially handed over yet, but presume that's what the delay in advertising is down to. We need to have open days at the new ground then fans can have a walk round and decide where they's like to sit/stand before committing to buying a season ticket and we need parking and an office available to purchase the said tickets.

We also need home friendlies prior to the season for exactly the same reason, I hope to god that a heavy defeat at HKR is again proffered as a good idea to generate interest. How is it that I expect to find myself in the new stadium surrounded by the loyal 3,000?

I bet the RL have nightmares about a Grand Final between Salford and London Whatevertheirnewnameis at Old Trafford. There wouldn't be enough fans to fill the Munich Tunnel! Not that there's much chance of it ever happening.

Speculating to accumulate is a complete anathema to Salford, but if they think increased crowds are just going to happen and then spend for the second season, they are sadly mistaken. JW has gone on record that he wishes to emulate Warrington. Well not with our current strategy, (Or lack of it).

What is in place to attract lapsed fans, new fans or even better players come to that? Youv'e got it..............Bu**er All. Don't you just love us!!!!

Keep the faith and hope for a miracle, it's all we can do.

Phil,we ordered our tickets for the new stadium months ago, paid up for two years and the club contacted myself to see about us moving two places towards the aisle steps so we are on the radar. We also have our seat numbers.

For the life of me I cannot understand what the problem is with not keeping the fans informed about what is going on behind the scenes,I am supposing that there is something happening, building up to next season.

By the way,is your neighbour called Harry? if it is I was talking to him the other day and he mentioned about the non show of Season Ticket information.

" Build it and they will come " he said

In a movie

Hopefully they are just waiting until the stadium is complete enough to guarantee you start the season there , just drove past this morning , a hell of a lot of work needed yet

I'd suggest that a big push would be needed in mid November , just as the Trafford Centre gears up for Xmas , but one thing is for certain , if you don't market it to death , " They will not come " icon_rolleyes.gif

You only get one chance at this , once the boat has gone , it's gone

I wouldn't worry about that mate, if we got to Old Trafford (or Wembley for that matter) we'd sell our allocation. Now the only problem is, the team getting us to the said finals icon_biggrin.gifOH: Apart from that I agree with everything else you've typed.

I'm waiting more and more impatiently for them to call regaurding renewing my season ticket, I took a new fan to the final game and he wants a season ticket but is bewildered that he can't find anything out about it on the website.

It's appauling that were in the most important off season of our lives and we are having the same old conversations regaurding ticketing.

I call on whoever is responsible for this at the club to resign as they are patently failing to do thier job properlly.

But if you've time to sit and type on here, why not call the club shop, or just go in and get your season ticket - I did on Saturday, it was quite painless, a big chart with the layout marked on, very helpful lady in the shop - picked my seat, paid for it - where's the problem??????

Yep Brian, Harry is my neighbour. A couple of lads who i go with have had some info but i have not heard a dicki bird. The problem like for many others is that Christmas is round the corner if you have kids then the money would probably be invested in them.

The problem is that some one is getting paid to promote the club, they are not at the moment, so what are they doing?

But that is NOT a problem for anyone wanting to buy a season ticket - they are on open sale, they are easy to get hold of

Whilst I completely agree the marketing is less than stunning, just because the club haven't called you, that is not in any way stopping you buying a ticket - it seems to me that some folk just prefer to whinge rather than just getting on with their lives - I wanted a ticket, I went and bought one - where's the issue??
