| It's an interesting mix.
Bradford , Leeds and Catalans away.
Huddersfield and Widnes at home, including the cup tie.
We've recently beaten Cas and Hull so we are in reasonable shape.
So,what will the Doctor regard as progress ?
PS. Please,no talk of it being a transitional period !!

| I'd be looking for a minimum of 3 wins from those 5, anymore and it will be a bonus.

| honestly I would expect a result Friday at Bradford, Leeds / Hudds dont hold much hope at all. Catalans you would hope and we need to be right mind set v Widnes on the day. Knowing Salford, probably 1 win if we are lucky.

| Friday's game is huge and for me it's a real marker or where we are at. We need to go there and do a good job on them, they're getting a few bodies back and actually have a forward pack this week so it will be more difficult than a few weeks ago, but there are no excuses whatsoever for not beating Bradford comfortably on Friday. We have our first choice 13 available, plus the addition Logan Tomkins. I will seriously start to fear for our top 8 aspirations if we get beat on Friday, even at this early stage.

| Think that beating Huddersfield is not beyond us at home, beat Bradford and beat them well and I'd expect a feel good factor to take us forward and remains for the good Friday game. If I'm honest for the Leeds trip on the Monday we'd be better of resting people like Morley, Griffin (if back for Bradford/Huddersfield) and select others as doubt many teams will match them at home and it's prudent to try and keep you best players fresh for the cup game the weekend after as despite what Nostradamus Clark says the cup remains the best option (if any) hope for silverware.

| Every game there is winnable with our team on paper of course it's not played on paper so we're obviously not going to win them all:
Bradford - Win
Huddersfield - Win
Leeds - Lose
Catalan - Lose
Widnes - Win

| I think the Bradford and Widnes are must wins and anything less than 2 wins from the next 5 would be alarming. I would also expect us to pick up at least one other win from Leeds (unlikely), Huddersfield (possible) and Catalans (probable).
If Harris can muster 3 wins from 5 and get us into the next round of the CC, I would be very happy.

| When I was a Kid there I watched a unbelievable gadet filled rescue Drama, where marionettes were manipulated and the bad guy had a baldy head .
the Tag line was :-
anything could happen in the next half-hour!
I think this pretty much applies to the Club & the next 5 Games ...
We've Just lost Brains & employed Parker ...
but we have employed Captain Scarlet.

| Think we saw tonight that if Tasi, Hock or HH can get at Brough on Good Friday there is a very good chance we can beat them.
Watched tonight's game and they look lost.

True generally, if you disrupt and stifle the opposition main playmaker its a benefit.
Hudd's 2 wins from 8 now , and well beaten 30-6 .
Teams like Huddersfield should not be losing to Hull by that amount, maybe they should get Brian Noble in...
Joking asside , looks like Hulls ploy to play last Thursday paid off for the SL game anyway.
This result will just make our next game more difficult as they will be even more keen to get back on track with a win .

| Brough is a fine player...When everything's going his way. When it's not, he's a liability. He constantly harasses the ref. His head goes down. He starts having goes at his own team mates. All this when things don't go well. All you need to do is stifle him and he will fall apart. Rarely have I seen him dig his heels in and pull himself and his team out of bad situations.

| Always been a fan of closing down the playmaker. Two players - one from each side of the line charging towards will always disrupt the attack and HH & Hock are perfect. Giants very much over rated and we normally play well against them so hopeful.

| We have been a bit of bogey team for the Giants over the past few years.
Huddersfield probably went as far as they could last year and fortune shone on them at times with very few injuries. They didn't really strengthen the team much over the winter to sustain their status, let alone kick on. Despite winning the league leaders shield last year I can't see them making the top 6 this year.
