If you were him what would you do if there were offers on the table from Wigan (SL champions and hometown club), Warrington (CC holders and probably best team in SL) or Salford (erm....) and that's not even mentioning rugby union with all its cash its got to spunk around.

Not sure where people get the idea that because we haven't heard anything on a signing / new deal that we're not doing something, these negotiations are very sensitive and sometimes no news is good news. I'm sure there's a very good offer on the table for Sef and he's got a massive career decision to make, he's 22 and the next deal will be at least 3 years no matter who he signs for, this could be the most important time of his Rugby League life. Lets not forget agents eh?

Stef is from Wigan and probly grew up wanting to play for them. He'll sign a new 5 yeard deal with us and then we'll sell him to Wigan at the end of next season for £90m. We'll then buy the stadium and the cream of the talent from SL and NRL and play them alongside our very promising young forwards who will have matured into superstars by then.

And we'll all live happily ever after.....

I doubt that money will be Steffs main driver, after all whoever he goes to/or stays are going to pay him very handsomely. Its the stuff around this that will decide it, players to play with, training facilities, quality of coaching, guarantee of position, chance to win something, profile etc
Whilst we may make him a top offer can we give him the others ? At the moment all i can see is a chance to play in the new stadium, beyond that i`m not so sure.

wigan have matched the Salford offer, Warrington have bettered it by 20k, as for the other stuff we don't have the background stuff in place, how Warrington do their accounts must be very interesting.
