| Just had a peruse through the pies board off the back of the Mossop news. In light of recent comments from MK about the talk of another prop, do the assembled masses think Taylor is worth a punt (whether permanent or on loan)?
I think I'd take him over Dudson....both of which the Wigan collective seem to think are now on the outer at that club.

| I've always thought him too be more a second row come prop, which is something we're not short of. Dudson has his detractors but he is without doubt an out and out prop.

| I would imagine Taylor will end up in Yorkshire somewhere, as he seems homesick. He was rumoured to be joining Huddersfield on a season long loan before joining Hull FC on a permanent deal in 2016. I imagine that loan-deal may still happen, but wouldn't be shocked if he ended up at Leeds either.

He and his girlfriend 'apparently' want to be closer to both of their families as they're expecting sometime soon. 2 hours is a bit far for the in-laws to nip round and baby sit!
I imagine we were in for Lee Mossop, Taylor would have been a great signing too but we will end up with Dudson.

I don't see the issue with Dudson, a good young prop who will only improve with age, I'd take him and have Mozz mentor him and watch him progress.

I’m not bagging him, just that I believe out of three mentioned he is the current weaker one. I see a lot of raw potential in Dudson and think it is way too early in his career to write him off.

50 minutes Manchester - Charleroi and then about 90 Charleroi - Antwerp and a darn sight nicer than Hull.
Never understood the homesickness thing, fill your boots while you can and then go back home when the playing career is over, unless of course you're Joel Moon and need too move closer too the folks.

| Apparently there is an announcement of a new signing today so I'd say Dudson is on board.
Just looked at his stats and I didn't realise he was as big as he is, 6ft 3 and 17 1/2 stone is one hell of a big unit.
Him and Tasi on from the start and then Mozz/Griffin/Forster/Groat/Walne as interchange is impressive, just hope Dobson can work behind them better than Smith did last year.
I doubt there will be a bigger pack than Salford next season with most of the new front rowers being well over the 17st mark.
Good thing for me is that in Walnex2 & TP we have players who can play big minutes in the 2nd row if needed so we really do have plenty of options off the bench.
