Reading a lot of negativity towards Harris, Man mangement, coaching methods etc and Wigan seemingly happy to see him leave or "not stand in his way". Hope Harris appointment doesn’t turn out to be a disastrous decision Ok the team hasn’t been performing as expected but with eight games gone was this really the right time for a change? … will he be given till the end of the season regardless of results ?

I can't understand people criticising Harris before he's even started the job. He was part of the success story at both Crusaders and Wigan. OK Wales didn't set the world on fire in the World Cup but let's be honest the players at his disposal were pretty inferior by International standards.

I have an open mind on this and will see what happens before I cast judgement.

It's all we can do really.

It dosn't make a sense on a few fronts but he still may do ok. The one thing that was noticeable in televised wigan games was the way Wane and Harris were some distance apart in the glass fronted box and didn't seem to converse. He hasn't had much to work with in the Wales squad but he must have all his coaching badges. It now means him starting afresh with his ideas and hoping that the Salford squad buy into it and he has to hope that they don't harbour grudges over Nobbys departure/sacking/promotion.

What an absolute pantomime your club has turned into. It's a total freak show.

Harris WON'T do the job the mad Doctor is demanding.

It shall not be long before you lot are calling for the head of Koukash.

And so speaks the font of all knowledge? garbage? poo? or just utter bilge?

Think the least accurate answer is knowledge.

You are kidding, right?

My best mate was involved at the Crusaders at a level enough to get the inside story. In his one year tenure, he took them from the play-offs to bottom place. My team, Wakefield, had to field kids and championship players because of administration, and we still finished above them, even though their team had remained unchanged.

I can tell you that the feedback from within the Crusaders in that final year was that Harris had no game plan. End of. In the World Cup, he had a thin squad, but still underachieved. I tweeted this afternoon that Wakefield's survival hopes took a boost from Harris's appointment. It was retweeted by two back room people at the Crusaders, neither of whom I knew. It seems that the standing of Mr Harris in Wales ain't that high.

Good luck to you, because I've no beef with Salford, but as a Wakey fan, the news of Iestyn's appointment was the best news of the weekend.

If I turn out to be wrong, fine, throw it back in my face, but as far as I'm concerned, you have just joined us in the relegation battle.

I hope it works with Harris but after only eight games they now have to get used to a different coaching system different ideas etc as in saying that koukash must now give Harris at least until the end of season no matter where the team finish or will it be all change in eight games time!!!

There you are eccles star!

It's been a while since the last crisis, your fingers must have nearly seized-up. Can always rely on you for forthright, hard to read, negativity without full stops.
