When does Matt Parrish arrive? It looks like we will need him if we want to qualify for the playoffs. Any thoughts on him bringing someone over to fill the quota for the last part off the season?

Said on either the Super League show or boots 'n' all the tries (or maybe both??) that he's due this week. I thought that was just an assumption as the last SOO game is tomorrow and it's been stated that he's coming after that but looking at KMT's post they may be right??

I'd like him here as soon as possible but there's a slight worry that if he turns up in time for the Hull game it may be an extra pressure the players don't need given how a big a game it already is. On the other hand it may be the extra boost they need to step up a level and get a win. Only one way to find out I guess!!

When the new coach lays eyes on his first game, u can bet your bottom dollar that effort will be the top priority. You can't ask for any more out of your team.

That really would be a stretch for anyone - I think he'd literally have to have his bags packed and ready to go about 2 hours after Origin had finished to have any chance of making it to Manchester and then on to Hull with the team. If he did do it though, it would send quite a message to both players and fans about how committed the guy is. Wow.

I hear Matt left Aus on Thursday afternoon (Aus time). This means he should arrive in the UK approximately mid-morning GMT on Friday. So, perhaps a quick sleep, jump in Steve Simms' car and off to Hull.

I'd have prefered him to take charge first for the home game against Leeds so he has a fighting chance of
A Winning
B Gewtting a fitting reception
C Ample preperation time before the game.

Luckily with my job I have been to Oz numerous times.
Last visit I flew Thursday 2am and got back in the UK 7pm Thursday night.
Problem is your brain is like mush when you arrive and there is no way you would be OK to even think about doing any form of work the next day.
I would prefer him to get over and settle in to the job, see whats what and then have the correct preparation for his first game in charge.
