[iA lot can happen in a week in the greatest game as we all know but we now have two weeks before our next encounter in Super League against Hull KR with next weekend being Challenge Cup semi-finals.

I'm hoping some how our head-coach McRae can get into our players heads over the next 14 days because he needs to after that woeful performance against Crusaders down in Wrexham yesterday.

I do not expect another win this season and fully expect us to be bottom of the SL at the end.
Catalans have improved and our only hope is Harlequins put in worse performances than our sorry bunch.

If you honestly think Photo Finish that McRae can motivate the shower of $hite we have presently at the club then you are sadly deluded.
In his tenure at the club performances have been worse, 60 point thrashings have become the norm, attendances are down on even our appaling numbers, young promising players have either left or gone backwards in their development need I say any more.

whereas I have the utmost admiration for Mr Betts ... wouldn't it be better for him to prove himself at a lower level or as assistant before taking reins so soon?

The last time Salford got a hammering they had 2 weeks to prepare and we all know what happened then! Salkord's results at the willows haven't been that bad. They've not really been embarassed in front of their home fans.

These are the game Rovers really tend to struggle in but with Holdsworth missing and maybe Jeremy Smith hopefully we can put on a good show and get the points in our push for top 6

Hopefully this fixture is as good as the one last year. I remember we lost but it was one of the more exciting games I remember from last season.

You mean, last Sunday's event wasn't exciting enough? My word, some people are just so greedy!

Perhaps I need my head examining, but I fully expect us to win at least two if not all three of the remaining games. I think with McRae's brilliant motivational methods we should be winning these games by a margin, his insight is second to none, why would Sky have him if this was not the case. He will have them in at 6.00am each day from now on and train the house down and get up the fitness levels. Mistakes will be analysed, game plans will be revamped players coached out of their mistakes and will bond as a team playing for each other, backing up every move, waiting for the offload exploiting the oppositions weaknesses and prevailing with a win.

Salford City Reds’ Jeremy Smith has been fined £300 and handed a one-match ban following his dismissal for using foul and abusive language to referee Ben Thaler during the 60-16 Engage Super League defeat by Crusaders RL.

He will now miss the Hull Kingston Rovers clash on Sunday 15th August 2010 at the Willows.
