Get this out of the way,best team on the day won. Cas were tremendous upfront and never gave an inch.The tactics employed were brilliant and put our wingers under high pressure.

What wasn't ok was the behaviour of the home fans. We moved from behind the sticks because of a Cas fan racially abusing a Salford player,I thought I had. gone back to the bad old days listening to the bile from one man....... and no I didn't say anything,because these type really are throw backs.Stood on the half way it really was an education listening to the filth being spewed out mainly at our winger and the match officials.
We as Salfordians take some criticism for being " rough and ready" but I can honestly say the above nonsense never happens at our home games,because I believe we as Salfordians wouldn't accept such behaviour.The RFL really need to get a grip on the culture that is tolerated at Wheldon Road.

I think you'll find a good percentage of them are of the same ilk. They've been outed for things like this before, it'll never change. It's Castleford of course.

To be fair to the cas fans they're more noted for their homophobic chanting than their racist abuse

I was once almost ejected from Huddersfield for a similar offence.
We had Waine Pryce playing on the wing and I kept shouting "GIVE IT TO MONKEY" whenever the ball came out to our left. The stewards took a lot of convincing that Monkey was the nickname for Michael Eager who was playing at centre.

Nope that's true, Salford fans just throw beer at opposition players, start fights with families leaving the ground, start fights with your own players fans and stewards and abuse bar staff in pubs.

Every club has their idiots, to tarnish a whole fan base because of the actions of an individual is ridiculous, why didn't you report the racist abuse to a steward?
