GOB- (9)So far he looks superb, Watto and Sheens have pulled of a masterstroke. Hes taken a while to adapt
to his position as a pivot but looks a really good foil for the half backs.

Carney-(icon_cool.gif Looks like a real buldozer of a winger which we need. Takes pressure off the pack and is tireless

Lui-(icon_cool.gif Finally a running SO, who doesn't pish about with the fancy stuff. Looks classy with ball in hand and can pick a pass. Good kicking game as well. Looks like hes only in 4th gear at the mo

Kopczk- (9) absolutely immense. The guys does hard yards, defends like a machine and will do big minutes. Mozza replacement

Tompkins- (7) Looks much better since he joined FT. Has had a few poor discipinary points but scooting from acting half and putting us on the front foot has been really good.

Haggerty-(6) Looked good in pre season and our biggest forward. Hope he gets a crack soon

Joseph- (6) For the size of him, he should do more damage, seems out of his depth at this level. A good squad player maybe but certain player should be ahead of him

Flanaghen-(icon_cool.gif machine with huge work rate. Also popping up with a few tries. Great signing

Sarsfield- (6-7) Looked a qucik runner out wide, getting used to the pace of SL but doesn't look out of place at this level

BMM- (9) has scared the hell out of every defence we have played. X factor

JJ-(icon_cool.gif Superb player and can't figure out his best position as he causes trouble everywhere

Lannon- (7) Baby who doesn't look out of place. Next big thing for us

Am gonna chuck Sau in here (icon_cool.gif- Looks a completely different player. Has lost a shed load of weight and my god he can shift and looks dangerous now!!

Not a new signing, but I think that Dobbo has been superb. Some of his vision kicks from free plays have been top drawer.

Josh Jones has been a great signing and very experienced for one so young. His future is definitely in the back row.
Nice to hear Lannon has been going well.

Good summary as Butcher stated cannot argue with that.

Plus dobsons found his feet, we're starting to see his KR form.

It's a shame for the fringe guys as I would like to see them get a run out, I know a few have had games elsewhere and it's the joys of having a good squad but it must be frustrating.
For me this is why the reserve grade or another domestic cup needs bringing back.
Wasn't the reason Hagerty came as he was in the same dilemma at Stains, on the fringes but just not getting that chance.
I suppose it's a nice headache to have.

cant argue with that and what impressed me more is after Lui came off last week, we are still a threat. Last year we would of crumbled and lost by 20-30 points.

Think both BMM & Lui could be the best imports in SL this season, I can only see Lui becoming more of an asset in the summer when the weather gets hotter and BMM looks like he'll run even harder on faster tracks.

Don't get what the management team see in Joseph, doesn't look fit enough and with the reduced interchanges he's just not worth a bench spot over some of the others.

A mention for me for the Walnes, really look to have knuckled down and especially worked on the discipline.

He's running the show and bringing out the best in others.

Agreed. Amazing what a difference getting Chase out of the team does. We now use 2 half backs instead of 1 and a bystander

Big Ben is my favourite recruit up until now. But this could change as Lui's no doubt awaiting better dry running conditions which will no doubt improve his game and options in attack. I must say though all of this years signings have performed great except for Joseph and Tomkins. They're both cringeworthy in both attack and defence both penalty whores.

Because Watson appears to have a love-in with Phil Joseph who contributes absolutely nothing to the team. This isn't a knee-jerk reaction to the Hull KR game either, which incidentally was one of his 'better' performances because I have been saying the same since week 1. In effect we're playing with 16 players each week and one less forward than we should, because his impact going forward is minimal. I could live with his inclusion in the squad if we had injuries, but for him to be picked ahead of Krasniqi and Haggerty on a weekly basis is baffling.

I imagine Jordan Andrade would offer more at the moment.

Where Watson and Joseph at Swinton together?

If you think of our previous since the Doc took over for buying turkeys and then look at all the players Sheens/Watson have brought in for this season, they appear to have done much better than those who have gone before, Joseph seems to be the only player who doesn't who is not up to the required standard.

Krasniqi for me can consider himself very unlucky, when we brought him in last season he did a good job, fits in with the modern role of 80 minute hard running #13 more in the prop mode.

I understand Joseph as a squad player but he shouldn't be anywhere near a first choice spot. Quite baffling when there is hungrier young players chomping at the bit.
