Could Andrade and Haggarty be a shout for a bench spot?

Andrade has gone to North Wales on duel reg so I doubt it, someone like him would have been ideal for the CC but think he's cup ties after yesterday.
I'd like to see Evalds start and O'Brien on the bench, pretty sure Smith will have Sandow reigning bombs down on him all night and Evalds starting might scupper some of his ideas.

| I don't know why you think Evalds is a safer option under the high ball compared to O'Brien? Apart from one (or was it two?) at Hull, O'Brien has been sound under the high ball thus far. Niall dropped a few last season, too.
On the subject of O'Brien/Evalds, I just cant see any way back into the starting 13 for Niall whilst O'Brien is fit and playing as well as he is.
It sounds like Jordan Andrade went well for North Wales yesterday, after hearing how impressed the coaching staff were with him in pre-season he cant be far off making his debut.
I hope we go similarly to Wigan, but bring A.Walne in for his brother.

| I'd of put Jones at Centre over Griffin. Jones's defence is much better than Griffins. And has a better nous with better offloads, Griffin had a defensive mare at Wigan Gelling tied him in knots. I just hope Atkins isn't opposing him.

| Griffin is a better bet on the wing, Jones to start in the centres and Evalds to come on with Jones moving into the pack.

Good call Evalds has to feature especially if we're behind with 20 minutes to go. Evalds has a match winning aura about him.

| O'Brien will deffo start at FB again. I reckon Evalds will be dropped again and Phil Joeseph will come back in due to Wire's big forward pack.

| Jones is a better option at centre, although Griffin is capable of handling Atkins. A nice problem to have.

Firstly I would keep Jones at 2nd row as he had a great game against the Pies, Griffin and Johnson are best mates and their partnership can only get better with game time. Yes they defended poor on occasion against Wigan but so did our right side defence with Carney and Sau too. I'm positive it's something Sheens would have spoken about after the game and we will be working on throughout the week.
Other major improvement points would have to be in our kicking game and set completion which was dire in the first half against Wigan.
Kurt Gidley is going to be a massive miss if he's out, I'd be throwing everything we have got at Chris Sandow, huge kick pressure and 4 men in the tackle, shake him up from the off set.
I believe this will be one of the toughest games of the season against the best team in the competition, but if we play for the full 80 minutes, kick well, chase hard and defend solidly as a unit there's no reason why this can't be another famous victory in front of the Sky cameras. It's going to be a BELTER!!

That is factually inaccurate pal. There is nothing wrong with Griffins defence and if you noticed they targeted sau and Carney on the right first half especially. Griffin was at fault for try in the 2nd half but I'm not having it that he's weak defensively. He is our best centre - fact, so I don't get the talk of moving him on the wing when Johnson and Carney are going well and he's scoring tries for fun.

| i Think even to blame the second try on Griffin is harsh, He was trying to cover for Dobson who was out of position which then left the outside exposed. His only fault is he lacks pace and couldn't catch Gelling once he had that yard on him.

| Would have been nice this week if the club would have got some of the clubs old welsh players down, Warrington and Salford have quite the tradition of having some great Welsh players.
Resign Dai Young for the week and make him 19th man for me

[iRedrum Griffin is our worst Centre period. As you'll see in the clip provided Griffin was at fault for Wigans 2nd & 3rd tries. He lacks pace for a Centre as you'll see he wasn't quick enough to catch Gelling for Wigans 2nd try. And his second fault again he reads the Wigan attack poorly. His lack of pace for a Centre leaves him exposed as Gelling's break highlights.rlWigan highlightsrl[/i[i Sorry to piece on your chips as the camera doesn't lie.[/i
