Kopczak is a decent enough signing, although I don't think he's a patch on Scott Taylor. Hopefully this Ben Murdoch-Masila can take over from Tasi (who I think will go on to be great prop at Saints)

More than happy with Kopczak, an ideal replacement for Scott Taylor. Just had a look at his stats and he is the highest average gain per drive prop that Huddersfield have had this season.

Said at the time he left Bradford I'd have been happy to sign him, big unit who plays big minutes.

Hopefully they will stick with Krasniqi at 13, just get the feeling that's his ideal position.

If all the "rumoured" signings come off,Kopczak,Masila,Buchanan,Flanagan,then the pack is certainly starting to look fairly decent once you add those names to the ones we know are staying.All at a good age and are not going to cost a fortune on the cap.I am hoping for big improvements from the Walnes,especially in their discipline side of the game,Krasniqi,Griffin,Forster,Menzies all young and open to any amount of improvement with Sheens guiding them along.Would like to see Hauraki really step up as one of the older more experienced heads but with his links to Chase who knows how that will pan out.With Lee and Hood interchanging at hooker then i think we have the makings of a decent pack.As always seems to be the case in recent years i guess a lot will depend on how well the coaching staff can get the team to gel but with a distinct lack of egos within this group i am guessing that might prove easier than past years.

Alan Hunte seemed to be suggesting that Menzies was being released on the radio yesterday...I guess time will tell...

They admitted later it was a bit of a misprunt.

Can't see them releasing Menzies he didn't play last year due to injury and looked a very promising prospect.
Just the type of prop we need.
