From what I can gather it isn't Barker dodging the phonecall.

You've got a pretty slanderous comment in your signature about the bloke, he's offered to speak to you 3 or 4 times now so perhaps it's time you picked up the phone and settled your differences.

I made it clear I would do when he first got some of his minions to message me on here (rather than having the balls to do so himself) unfortunately I got taken into hospital pretty much the next day or so and it kind of got forgotten about. The fact that he then went on Twitter to say some things )after I had been taken in) about me shows the lack of class the man has. Not forgetting the fact that I make it well known I don't use Twitter and have never looked at anything on it.

Calling someone a terrible journalist isn't slanderous it is a personal comment, you know the type of thing that was done using what I'd said on here without my permission.

The easiest way for him to converse with me is to privately message me on here as I have no desire nor intention of speaking to him personally.

Just so you're aware defamation, libel or slanderous comments in the internet consistute anything that isn't a fact (different from an opinion) and a comment which could harm reputation.

I find it odd you would criticise someone regularly on here, but won't settle differences like the grown man you are.

Oh do off. If he doesn't want to speak to him then fine. If barker want's to sue him then get on with it. If he doesn't, fine. Lets trawl back through the last 3 years posts and see how much you all thought of barker over that period. Why has he suddenly turned into a journalist held in the highest regard because he supposedly has the ear of the chairman? He has written some absolutely dire copy regarding us over the years. Grow up, all of you.

In fairness to MR on this one, he has stuck to his guns on the issue of Barker and the 'comic' unlike others on here who used to share similar views but now laud him and compare notes over transfer rumours with him on twitter.

Minions? Grow up. I was asked as a moderator to try to get a message to a forum user, and being a reasonable adult, did so.

Unless your real name is Michigan Red (in which case I imagine you'd be easy to find in the phone book) then I'd suggest that there is a huge difference between calling out a pseudonym-using online foe on twitter, and openly criticising the professional competence of an actual person using their real name. As far as I see it, you even added a misspelled insult to your sig after you knew that he was reading your posts. What were you saying about class?

In the print days of the Turkey we ripped Barker and the MEN plenty of times when it was deserved, but we're both grown up enough to have adult conversations about things now.

If Barker has a problem, let him take legal recourse. If not, stfu. The men is dire, and his stuff is amongst the most dire. He might love the club as his own child, but generally his copy is sensationalist and poorly proved.
