Like God knows how many went along today to the open day and couldn't have been more impressed with the entire day and also set up at the club now.

As was pointed out if the team fails next season it won't be for the lack of attention to detail.

the buzz today was infectious and I know already of two people who just turned up to have a squizz who didn't already have season tickets who signed up there and then. I can only guess but there must have been well over 2000 season ticket cards to hand out there and with the Christmas sales would think we're definately in line for the highest number of sales ever.

Just annoyingly have to wait until February to get the ball rolling.

The tour was good. The Players Lounge and the Gym were eye openers from thr perspective of that they had nothing at the ground like this before. Would be good if the heritage stuff could be found it's own space.

Enjoyed Koukash's speech too. He is really up for it. I wonder who the player whose name begins with H and playes for a club beginning with W is and the other player for 2015 initials SB...

The club made a real connection today, lets hope they can organise more events like this. They also must have shifted a fair number of shirts.

Great stuff. Now that the RLWC is over, we can now really start to look forward to next season. Can't b£oody wait! Hope that there is a great crowd for the first game and a great performance from the team.

Recapped he wants to make Salford the biggest club in the World. He is buying Swinton. Two more signings before the new season one of which he hopes to seal later this week - the player whose name begins with H and plays with a team starting with W- as he put it. Had talks with SBW this morning re 2015-16. Big publicity campaign to launch in the New Year. Also suggested some big sponsors on the cards and he still wants to buy the stadium.

I can 100% confirm Marwan had a meeting with SBW's agent earlier in the day, I even had a chat with him (the agent) and the deal Koukash is offering is for the 2016 season. Obviously it depends on what SBW wants to do I believe his plan is to play in the 2015 RUWC, so after that he'll be up for another challenge I imagine.

I can't see Sonny Bill returning to Union until he has lifted that World Cup IMO.
I hope you do sign SBW as he will make the game over here known.

I might be mistaken but I took it that Marwan said there was two more players to come on for 2014 and one of the names began with the letter H. The other player will be from a team beginning with the letter W. Any bets on HANSON and KIRMOND. Marwan's daughter Layla has put a lovely photo of herself and Gabriel with SBW on twitter which was taken this morning .

I understood him as saying that the player he hoped to announce soon was named H and club was W.

I went down to the stadium yesterday and I must say I'm well impressed. The other thing I noticed was the feel good factor from the fans, the first time in years I've seen fans that excited for a up coming season.

So far comparing Salford Red Devils to Salford City Reds is like comparing chalk and cheese (off the field),let's hope it's the same on the field. But so far so good.
