I read it and it just shows you how bitter they really are. That picture of chase waving to the Salford fans is class. Was going to stick it on their board but im not gonna gloat. A few castleford fans wished us luck for next year so they aint all bad.. I just want it to be febuary now. Bring on SL2014

Apart from that brilliant attempt at the word 'opposition', I like the fact the Marwan has no class but calling someone 'kockrash' presumably has.

However, we shouldn't think this represents all Cas fans. Sure, some of them (like that 'biggunbrad' - or whatever he calls himself - that comes on here) lack emotional maturity and are now looking for things to get into a lather about, but there are also some reasonable comments on the Cas forum.

I read a tweet this morning from a LEEDS FAN saying "For years Salford have had their best players snatched by the big money vultures, now the tables have turned and fans don't like it"

Couldn't put it any better.

Sounds like that is the majority, perhaps you were speaking to the minority.



I seen one similar, only it went along the lines of "How many clubs in Super League have got former Salford players in there teams as a result of their previous financial problems. Good luck to them".

Salford vs cas 1st game of season anyone????

Would be nice to get our rivalry back with Cas. I remember back in the early and mid 2000's when we were both battling for relegation, we had some great games with some top atmospheres, especially at the Jungle. We always seem to come out on top too from memory.

Still remember Andy Coley picking Wayne Price up and running 15 metres with him over his shoulder.

It will be good to have another rivalry going,hopefully a friendly competitive rivalry between two decent sides

The thing is that Castleford are one of my favourite other clubs so its sad to see how some have reacted to our change in fortunes. The Chase issue really has got under the skin of Cas fans in a way i have yet to see Wakefield fans react about Smith (if indeed we have signed him) As others have said we have lost a raft of players to clubs over the years..we know how it feels and yes some of us have been less than gracious. But the good Dr is pumping money into the game..he saved a heartland traditional club..perhaps building a new team to try break up the staggering monotony of the same teams on GF day. As someone once said "some days your the pigeon..some days your the statue"..Hopefully we can become a force in the game again..please dont begrudge our smallish band of followers our potential day in the sun...lord knows we have suffered along the way to better days.
