| I know this has been done to death and that last night was a one off but how on earth are 7:45 & 8:00pm seen as the way forward? If I was a wakey fan last night how on earth could I have brought my kids to the match? How are we meant to grow attendances into the future when KO's at this time whether it be Fridays or Mondays mean half the kids who could come can't as its past there bed times? I remeber going to the willows loads when I was a kid on a Sunday at 3pm, if it was friday KO's at 8pm there is now way my mum and Dad would have let me stay out that late and get in at god knows what hours. Kids go to bed early so why are we alienting them? Just so people can have some beers and go out after? And those who say we have tried sundays 3pm recently, I hardly call the odd Sunday trying it. The club need to change it for all home matches next season and get families back involved

| Bring back Sundays for me and yes it can only help those who would like to bring the kids along.
Friday nights and Monday nights are never going to help families nor is it going to entice those from over the hill !
It could be that some stay away because there isn't much banter with away fans and hence lack of atmosphere ?
Someone told me though at the club many years ago and whilst at the Willows that when we reverted to Friday nights that gates were up and it helped on the cooperate booking side, there was also the matter that more and more clubs were choosing to play on a Friday which would lead to 2 days less rest for our players if we stayed with Sunday.
A lot do seem to prefer a Friday as it doesn't break into your weekend especially if you have a family with no interest in coming to the match.
For me though Sunday afternoon in the Sunshine (When it shines !) helps for a better atmosphere plus would be easier for the club to market and put on family friendly events, only when they do this you can guarantee it's going to poor down !

| To avoid Monday night games we'd need to opt out of Sky's coverage...

To be fair, after last night they would be well within their rights never to show us again!

| Having been to your new ground twice, I can't see me coming again, The Willows it ain't and that's a real shame. Maybe marvellous Marwen could be persuaded to buy and revamp that famous old ground and put Salford back where they belong.
Good luck for the rest of the season

Buy and revamp the Willows? That'd be some effort considering it's no longer there.

| Sunday for me, I take my 5 year old grandson to only Sunday games he has actually watched more away than at home. It is the younger generation we need to attract. Friday night games are too late, how more supporters feel the same.

It's got to be Sundays but you get people who have their nights out at the match wanting to keep it Fridays, the crowds have never risen going to Fridays and never will remember the Bradford match when all the parents were walking out as the game was well over run. Yes this doesn't happen regularly but for 90% of parents taking kids to the rugby on a Friday night is a definate no no and that includes me and I've been watching Salford 26 years. I'd never take my son out with me at night especially as Friday night I'd P1ss up night for majority of people, sounds petty but its a reason that a lot of parents will be put off by.

| I have been watching Salford on and off for a number of years. For very young children I think 8 on a Friday is an issue-7.30 would be better. You have to remember kids will have a "late night treat" and still have the weekend to sleep it off.
All the Sunday brigade are also forgetting the two big issues on a Sunday competing with United/football games for a good section of the season and the Trafford Centre weekenders particularly in holiday periods.
Only one thing will put bums on seats and that is a quality winning team.Top RL signings will make some impact but only for those who follow their RL.If you want to make a big splash sign a top RU player.
If the team is good and winning you will get good crowds.
I think the crowds will have been impacted this season due to all the hype and then no signings no change and an uncompetitive team.
One signing as a show of intent would have done so much to boost things. It's now a case of what's the point let see what's going to happen next season.

That's a tad unfair considering Griffin, Gaskell and Emmitt have been brought in to strengthen the squad. I don't think a massive signing of intent has been possible because i'm sure Koukash would have made one if he could.

My bad , I didn't know they had flattened it already, that's a bloody shame and the RFL should hang their heads ,as another famous old ground bites the dust .
As I said, good luck for the rest of this season
