I think most fans would be happy "only" making the 8 or getting to semi finals, given how things have been recently. If we can become a consistent playoff team, then maybe we can attract a real world class coach to take us to the very top - Noble can be a stepping stone and get the foundations built. Or maybe Noble could get us to the top himself, we'll just have to wait and see. |

That'll do for me.
Shows the gulf in reality between top sides fans and struggling teams fans. We were readying ourselves to not exist at Xmas, so a top 8 or semi final would be magic. |

For fans the occasional bit of finals footy will be great but Dr kashcow's insistence on winning silverware in 2 years is miles away. Will Dr K settle for the odd play off? |

just noticed the announcement on the reds website. I think they could have used a different picture though. seems a little insencitive to use an old picture of brian noble with our old coach stood in the background. a bit sloppy really.

How can you not be happy? 4 months ago I'd have snapped your hand off if you'd told me Noble would be our head coach and we'd have a wealthy/ambitious owner.
By far the best managerial appointment the club have made in the 20 years I've supported them.
