No excuses the best team won and Widnes have only lost one home game.Even that game Widnes should have won and was a close game.

That surface did look worn and there was a lot of debris which was thrown up when the ball did bounce.

The "debris" is an integral part of the surface. It is small pieces of rubber which fill the holes in the plastic in an attempt to obtain a more consistent surface.

Who's making excuses? We lost to the better team, yes, but the way the Widnes fans went on for 80 minutes was laughable. I was in the south stand and even my Widnes supporting mate was taking the p*ss out of every cry of "forward". Bonkers.
