What a tremendous interview with the doc. He truley believes in not only the club but also and more importantly the salford fans. Listening to Marwan Koukash on the radio is quite unbelievable. He really is a breath of fresh air and I think he will be great for Salford and Rugby League in general. He really does seem like a great guy and he is the sort of guy who will drag Rugby league forward kicking and screaming.

Seems like a real genuine fella. I think he's gonna cement himself as a Salford Legend in the years to come. Nice to have a breath of fresh air with regards to ideas and plans on how he wants to see Salford succeed, along with the City and its people being part of the ride too.

Seems a top guy and like already mentioned will be awesome for both the reds and rugby league in general. Knows what he wants and is making sure that everyone knows what he expects. In the same way , but not from the depths of despair , we felt the same with Adam Pearson at Hull FC. He can't own the stadium but he is trying to re negotiate the rent . He has revamped the Club from top to bottom and that is an understatement. You Reds fans must feel great , I know we did.

I agree. Dr Koukash comes over as a real genuine bloke but also clearly one with a steely determination. Now Salford fans need to show him some patience. The future looks very bright but don't be surprised if it takes five years or more to build the right combination of playing squad and coach to actually deliver a major trophy. By example, Wire's 'revival' began in 2004 but we're only now being accepted as a 'top' team.

Certainly a really positive interview on Radio Manchester last night. It's a breath of fresh air to think that we have a genuine professional at the helm recruiting proven talent to run the club.

I just have this sinking feeling that 3 games in, if we've been pasted by Wigan, Catalan and Leeds then the same old suspects will be booing the team and starting a Koukash out chant - I hope I'm proved wrong.

I'm half expecting us to get booed off tonight should Wigan run up a big score!

Cannot quite believe it, from the depths of despair to, well just cannot put it into words. We are saved, Salford fans will ever be grateful to Dr Koukash. We not only still have a club but one which looks like it's going places
I feel happy for the supporters of the last 40years who missed the 70s teams, you now have a chance to see a great team.
