Approximately how many of those were Swinton fans?

| Was it really so low? The stand holds 4500 and it felt / looked at least half full during the game.

| Any news on the game itself (for those not in attendance)?
Who were the halfbacks?
Who played at fullback?
Did Gleeson play / did he play well?
How was the pack?
Are Dixon and Ashurst looking like a good pairing?
Any offerings would be gratefully received........

| Well done to everyone who made the effort to attend. It's a shame the attendance was so low. I thought the young lad at full back (No7) looked decent and liked the number 28 when he came on. We looked really sharp 1st 20 mins but it got a bit scrappy after that. Theo Fages was impressive and him and Sneyd look ok together. Bit light in the pack again. Backs look decent and we've got good options at hooker with Wagga Goodwin and Howarth.

| Evalds was the fullback (despite wearing 7). Class chip and chase try assist. Was replaced by Jack Holmes in the 2nd half who I think was the number 28. Fages and Sneyd were the half backs.

| Frustrating today trying to watch without knowing the teams. How hard can it be to release the team list?

Agree with most of that, especially the 'light in the pack' bit. I don't think the backs covered themselves in glory, though, as they let too many Swinton kick-offs bounce in field. Wigan will punish every one of those errors. Still, it was a decent enough run-out and there were some real positives.

| Thought the halves were pretty sharp, that the kid @ full back looked good, we had options from the PTB.
Was pleased to see Gleeson play and you could see from time to time he was a mile ahead of everyone else with his thinking and I do think with game time he will be an asset to a team that it seems with have more youngsters in it than we would have hoped for.
A negative from the very first KO we fielded was the huge gap in the of the park which to their credit Swinton spotted and tried to exploit a few times, worrying was that on field it wasn't spotted nor by people in the dugout or up in the stands.

I agree, they would be much better giving it you to help you understand the use of full stops and such like.
