Several journalists on twiotter saying we've pulled out of the Leigh game.

Now we're calling games off because we have 'too many knocks and niggles' a f**kin embarrassment. If the unthinkable happens and we do make it to the season are we going to start calling games off because we have no players? Seriously stop giving the fans false hope and just call it a day!!!!!! unf**king believable, no in fact its not!!!!!!!

It's a bit of a poor way to deal with our neighbours in our time of need. We need all the friends we can get. Now we've cost Leigh a fixture they will find difficult to replace at such short notice. Not good!

Friendlies are a shared gate though, surely that would have helped the situation?

Maybe but the point remains, if Salford are desperate for money then surely they should play come what may? Every little helps and all that.

I can't understand the game being called off through injuries. In previous friendlies over the years all players seemed to get game time even academy lads.

Or is it that the players that have called this match off due to wages not being payed ? It does make you wonder.

Hope that things take an upturn for Salford but I must admit the reasons quoted on the official website about wanting to give the players an "extended break" are a joke as far as I'm concerned...it's pre-season FFS! However I know from mates who are Salford fans that they're obviously p1ssed off with the poor communication from the club so I'm sure the statement doesn't come as much of a surprise to yourselves.

It doesn't make you wonder - it's clearly the second of the options you put forward.

Disgraceful from a SL club to mess a lowly championship side about. Your club knew from the moment your begging bowl was thrown back in your face by the council that the game wasn't going to go ahead. Feel sorry for the Salford fans. IMO your club's gone. The problem i reckon is if you go into admin now, the administrator has no income to keep the club going and will be forced to liquidate the company almost immediately. Your board are rapidly running out of words that will placate the fans and more importantly the creditors.
