| I wouldn't presume anything yet. There'll probably be a board meeting to decide what happens next.

| Has there been any official comment from the club since the council decision?

| It would help if we actually knew what was going on.
If you looked at the official website you'd think it was business as usual (albeit without memberships being on sale, and being slow on signings). The only "official" word I've seen about finance/investment/takeover (apart from the lads on Facebook dong their best to answer questions with no information) was a line in the Andrew Dixon signing articles that said that more signings should be made once investment talks conclude.
The most worrying thing I've heard, if true, if that the Club's bank account has been frozen (as stated on Radio Manchester).

Given that in the last published accounts Cash at Bank was £185 I don't think that should matter too much!
No point in any speculation now, we just wait for a statement from the board of directors

| Why don't the RFL simply loan Salford £750K like the council were going to do before it was veto'ed ? Peel will then match it and Salford could survive for next season. That would be the most favoureable outcome IMO although short term.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo
This inept board cannot be given chance after chance.
If the RFL give the matched £750.000 with the forming of a new board, that would be a much better option for Salford.

| Having read the posts on here, seen the TV coverage and listened to radio Manchesters take on yesterdays decision I have kind of been wondering what will happen next.
It seems to me that the likely outcome will be administration and who knows what that will lead to in terms of what division and where Salford will play and again that got me thinking.
Now is the time for all the real Salford fans to pull together as it will give you the possibility to own your club and with the correct management team in place ensure that it goes on to prosper.
To do this you need to call a public meeting ( which i'm sure would be well attended ) at that meeting agree to form a full supporters trust, unless of course the Forever Reds has that status already in which case your on the right track. Next get an agreement that each member of the trust pays a membership £50 say amongst 2000 would give you £100,000.00 very simple maths there, but more importantly in the event the club goes into Administration or indeed full liquidation you have genuine working capital to negotiate with the receiver to buy either the existing club debt free or form a new company entirely.
I for one would agree to make a donation of the first £50 to get the ball rolling, done out of the need to see the continuation of one of the rugby league family.
If this happened then clearly the hard work would start for those chosen to steward the club.
This is just my idea for a bit of a plan if it took of i'd be happy to try and help you lot out.

| Don't forget the RFL have withdrawn the Sky money for 2013 for Bulls. Why not loan this to Salford ? Where is this money sitting now ?

The sky money will be distributed among the other SL clubs so salford would get around £60K+

Contrary to recent suspicion of a hidden agenda you have, I find you to be a credible character who utters a great deal of sense. Good post!
Don't know where I'd find the money but in principle, I'd support an idea like this.
