Looks like veivers may be in charge again this season! If parish wants to go, and he must do if his name is being mentioned at other clubs, then let him go.

Exactly my thoughts Iain, there's a few people (journo's) starting to talk about it on twitter now...just a thought we could do a film like The Damned United about Brian Clough call it The Damned Reds starring Al Pacino as Matt Parish on his short but disastrous tenure at the club (Sidlow, Peacock EQUALS!)

FWIW if Parish does leave would Vievers really want the head job because in his mind he wasn't good enough (in the boards eyes) first time around. Salford you are an utter embarrassment!

I dont think this comes as a surprise consideriung the rumours on here already about how Matt and the Board dont see eye to eye or how Matt isnt happy with what he has to work with and how he now has to do things the boards way.

However it doesnt bother me in the slightest, he was'nt a motivator or a great man manager and thats exaclty what Salford need Due to the fact that there gona have to make the most of what they have. Somone said how Vieivers isnt Matt, however Matt wont do any better a job at Salford than Phil could do, due to the fact that Matt's heart isnt in it and he has exaclty the same team manage. I cant see them doing thing's much differently, I would say the players have more respect for Phil than they do Matt aswell.

Matt has walked into a job that he wasnt expecting, simples. If Matt wants to walk away than he has every right to that decision, if he doesnt want to fight it out an make a go of it then so be it, that alone is enough to prove he wasnt the correct man for the job, Salford need a person like that who is willing do that, and until that person arrives its down to Phil and Sean to come up with some idea's.

I'm honestly passed caring, I'll just turn up to the games as usual, but really couldn't give 2 flying you know whats about what goes on at the club anymore.

Exactly - as long as we get behind the lad's and they put the effort in on the pitch then they'll get the result's they deserve, and we'll give the club the support it deserves.

What we need, and have needed for years and years, is some strong leadership from the top down. Does anyone honestly believe that Wilky (wonderful bloke that he is) would run Wilkinson Star the same way he runs Salford??

I may be wrong, but I think wilky was lucky and managed to cornerstone a niche market brand. Which he's been able to make a good monetary gain from. He seems to have a knack of remarkably failing at other ventures such as the buile hill hotel and most Notably getting our club to be successful.

When I am asked what soap I watch, I answer "Salford".
