Today the Salford family have lost one of our own.

Jim Pennington

A lovely man and a huge Salford supporter. Many Salford supporters will know Jim... If you didn't know him personally... You would surely have known him to look at.

I for one feel very sad about this news today. Jim is one of those faces who I will always remember at The Willows.

Sleep tight big fella... that Red Army in the sky is a better place with you.

Didn't recognise the name but then saw a photo on facebook. Really nice fella. Thoughts are with his family and friends.

Shocked isn't the word. Rest in Peace Jim very upsetting news.

I'm shocked, massively sad news, we've lost a lovely, genuine man and a top Red.

I've only just realised who jimmy is. What gutting and sad sad news. One of the nicest men I've ever met. Always said hi and had a quick chat for a fellow reds fan.
