Far from an awesome display, but a decent enough win against prob the weakest team in the league, the club must go to every length possible to retain Ratch as proven tonight as he was easily m.o.m. Would be such a loss to the club if he moved on,so please wilky dig deep and dont let another gem slip through our grasp.I have knocked him of late as at times his heart doesnt look with us anymore, but tonight he showed what a talent he is !

I can't quite believe you and I were at the same match

MOM for me was a choice of Smith, Godwin, Patten or Holdsworth (kicking and mouthing of at the ref excepted!)

I'd love to see the missed tackle count - I suspect St Stef might be featuring on it

I went to the game tonight due to Wigan being away in France also having a bad feeling that Saints would beat Leeds in the televised game. Was an entertaining enough game I though as a neutral, I say neutral but always like to see you guys do well. Was abit disappointed at Feka's try being disallowed brought back memories of his try against Hull KR in '09 he is unstoppable when on a run like that, also he looks to of dropped some weight from when I last seen him play. Has he or is it just me?? The highlight of the game for me was how Anderson got the ball out to Broughton(I think??) to score in the corner. Anyway thanks for an entertaining night.

6 possible MOM and a possible corner turning disPlay from Adamson. Great confidence from the lad. The hardest worker (IMO) resulting in a 5 minute breather around 65 minutes.

All our props were awesome. Jewitt putting in his best display. And when the big boys put the effort in I think that's when Stef gets time, space and protection to do what he does best.

What scares me is the possibility stefs well aware of all the time space and protection Wigan and saints can offer him.

Oh well look at myler. Much more fuss was kicked up on here about him leaving and I think everyone will agree we don't miss him half as much as we thought. Granted the same can't be said about Stef. Good luck in what ever he does. And well played to all the lads.

Same could be said about Holdsworth. He took the phrase "Use the touchline as your friend" to heart and kept passing to it. icon_surprised.gif A win is a win though. Well played reds. icon_biggrin.gif

Ratch was one of the stand out players tonight for me (Smith MOM), and he got some time at 6 too (possible atempt to please him while his contract negotions are on going?).
Sign on the dotted lone Ratch!

A crowd of 3,213 is absolutly pathetic for a game between 2 heartland clubs in the premier Rugby League competition in the NH. No soccer was taking place locally, the test match was taking place in Cardiff and that finished abot 7pm. even the Crusaders got a bigger gate than this. What did Salford do to promote this game?

Ratchford was excellent tonight, when he was at Centre.
Far better there than at stand off, where he was in the way !
After they scored so early I feared the worst but Holdsworth got us back in it straight away.
Well done that man.

You lot played well but we made you look a lot better than you were. Our complete inability to hold onto the ball and also our inability to tackle helped you a lot.
