| Your team were a credit to you tonight. Patently obvious from the outset that they were ten times more motivated than our team. Totally negated the threat from Mason. Patten was outstanding imo.
Congrats from a totally gutted Robin.

| There has been so much talk of Patten not being worth his money but tonight you saw a master class in positional play, think from here on Patten will show exactly why he was one of the most revered full backs in the NRL.

| Thanks mate, and to the bloke who moaned over 2 quid, that first try alone was worth at least 20 quid, sat here with a bottle of red wondering what has happened, BBC GMR wipping their little appendages on hankies about Wiggin beating Huddersfield, when the real revolution was happening at the Willows where a team missing 50% of its perceived first team were missing played like Thunderbirds two had deposited 17 test playing Aussies on the park.
Salford I raise my hat and everything else, tonight I saw Hesketh, watkins, gill, Coleman, dixon and Risman out there, just build it because they will come.

| And we saw the God who is Buffer, looked still to be at a playing weight and bet he'd have loved to have a nibble or two at Mason.

| Got to echo what Bobbin' Along said, to say you had hardly any forwards, you battered us in the pack and after slagging Patten off all week, he was, unfortunately a joy to watch in a master class of full back play.
You were the better team for seventy minutes and although we conceded some soft try's, you scored some belters.
Good to see performances from Smith and Ratchford as well.
Well done, hope you kick on from here.

| Well done lads! . Especially in that 10-15 min spell after half time where it looked like the game was getting away from us. Fantastic effort from 1-17 & I salute you from a random pub in town!

Thanks for the credit I appreciate your graciousness in what must be considered a bad defeat for you under the circumstances. Tonights performance was totally unexpected and before the game I wouldn't have been surprised if we had lost heavily tonight. Cashmere our biggest metre maker was suspended, Parker, Jewitt and Feka injured or ill and Anderson and Bailey haven't played for us yet. Ashley Gibson also had to pull out and it looked like a lost cause tonight. I appreciate Hull KR were missing Dobson, Vella and Newton but regardless it was a great performace from Salford and I applaud the way we threw the ball around and entertained tonight. (Something the team seem to be discourged to do under our absent head coach) The crazy thing is these lads can play if given the license to do so.
Huge credit must also go to the young forwards making their debut's who were thrown in at the deep end tonight, Davidson and Marriott. I should also mention another youngster Sneyd who scored a good try and performed admirably.
I don't want to get too carried away but this victory and style of performance is what the club have been crying out for and hopefully we can kick on from here to gain the momentum we need moving to our new stadium.

I don't know where you stand/sit but from behind the sticks it was actually a very good try. Got the ball and didn't just make a mad dash for the whitewash but got his head up, had a look around and varied his pace.
I won't enjoy watching the reply from a Rovers fan perspective but you scored some really lovely try's tonight. The Sidlow offload try in the first half where you were queueing up to score was lovely.

| Cheers PMH, very magnanimous of you, know its hard after a defeat, & we know that feeling well.
Think none of our fans looked at a win tonight, but massive credit to our guys.

| The HKR fans on here are a credit to the sport. The reason that RL is so special, and I just wish other fans (Including Salford fans) were as honest and humble. Most other fans would be blaming everything and anyone rather than admit that the other side was just better on the night.
I salute you.
Great win for the lads and hopefully we can carry the confidence forward and do something we have struggled to do. Find some consistency and get another win on the bounce.

| Well I turned up expecting another tonking in view of the numbers of first choice players we had missing - but was I ever proved wrong - Terrific performance from 1 to 17.
Adam Sidlow's best performance this season, he's taken a lot on stick on here so well done for showing us what he can really do
Luke Adamson just kept on going forward, Stephen Wilde was immense - ran himself into the ground for the cause - everyone of the forwards looked more up for it than the superstar Wille Mason - just goes to show that a decent tackling technique and determination can stop anyone.
But it seems unfair to single anyone out for special praise - picking MOM on the poll is going to be pretty tricky this week - and what team does Mr Simms pick for next week ?
What a great start to the weekend
