| I caught the last 30 minutes and was well impressed with the style of rugby they played. The chip and regather from at least 50 yards to set up a game breaking try was great to watch.

| Like I posted on another thread I was extremely impressed with what I saw from the U20's tonight. Lots of free-flowing, off the cuff rugby (Sneyd's kick & re-gather a case in point) and plenty of controlled aggression in both attack & defence. I'd be inclined to show McRae the door now & give Alan Hunte a season to prove himself as first team coach, I really believe he has the makings of a top class coach. Let Highto run the 20's & let's see how it goes.
Ps. I'm assuming that was Highto on the line last night as it looked suspiciously like Dom Joly!

Said on a different thread but at half time Hunte was stoop outside the changing rooms last night and I heard him say that he wasn't allowed in, for me that reads that he tells SM what he thinks and that SM doesn't like it.

He was stood out there before the game as well when I nipped for a pint. He's obviously thinking along the same lines as most of the fans. Knowing our luck Hunte will end up walking/getting pushed and we'll end up stuck with McRae!

Hunte was stood outside, where the team coaches park on Weaste Lane. deep in conversation on his mobile just before the game.

Pretty strong line up there, especially from 1-7.

Black Backgrounds/Crazy Harry.gif Keep Playing The Young Talent. They Need To Gain Experience Now. These Lads Are SALFORD'S FUTURE. Bring on the BARTON:Black Backgrounds/Crazy Harry.gif |

| This was a great result for the lads, especially as Saints always have good kids coming through their ranks.
Thought number 11 for Salford (sorry don't know his name) had a great game and made mince meat of his opposite number, Salford seemed to have a lot of success down his side.
Thought Sneyd had a good game with some great kicking, and hats off for that 40/20......
Keep up the good work lads, at least the youth managed to keep my spirits up!!!!!!!!!

Hasn't Clay got representational honours and played in Aus? Must be getting to the age where he needs competative game time.
