| He's a good player that's for sure. Very tidy fullback and has impressed when watching Canterbury this year however at 28 and maybe hitting his prime would he leave Australlia?

True, I just think that a big chunk of money + an overseas spot could be better used.
There was talk of Ratchford playing full back next season, which I think is a far better option.

| I'd prefer we use that money to unearth another Jodie Broughton
If we were looking for an old NRL fullback I'd prefer Rhys Wesser from Souths .

I'd prefer we use it on a quality centre to provide service to Broughton.

Good john wilky last looked out
on the pitch at salford.
when the snow lay round about
deep and crisp and even
brightly played the lads that night
though the frost was cruelllll
when poor swinton scored a try

| Ratchford at fullback next season for me we can put the money to better use next season if you ask me.
1. Ratchford
2.
3. Gibson
4.
5. Broughton
6. Holdsworth
7. M Smith
8. Cashmere
9.
10. Jewit
11.
12. Adamson
13. Wild (Think hes more or less confirmed now)
14. Sidlow
15. Parker
16.
17.
For me we should be looking at filling in the gaps with some real quality

last ' quality centre ' we had was probably Michael Hancock , before him Peter Williams
they're few & far between , i'll settle for a ' half decent centre ' who can run straight , put his winger through and tackle .

| I like the idea of Ratchford at full-back, he has to be used more centrally. Wild is almost definitely a signing for you men now, I think injuries have hampered him in the last couple of years but a class player on his day. Salford also after one other out of contract player from Hudds but he's got a couple of offers on the table.

Rhys Wesser is set to be given a new one year contract at Souths, along with Colin Best. But I agree that the money would be best spent somewhere else and I don't think we should be too hasty in getting rid of Fitzpatrick.

| Patten would be my preferred choice.... He knows the position better than most... and I'd sooner have an established player in that position.
Get him signed.

| Fitzy plays some fantastic rugby at times, but far too often he gets dominated on the first tackle, resulting in a slow play the ball and the opposing defence getting set. A bad start to our set of six that is made worse by alker's lightening fast passing at dummy half.
On the subject of centres, I'd like to see Henry stay on next season. His defence is not always the best, but with ball in hand I really rate him.
We definitely need a new winger. If henry doesn't have the best defence, Tyrer has the worst defence ever! I used to play for a team in the summer conference that leaked 70 - 80pts a game, Tyrer would have fitted in well. Honestly, the guy has got no bottle whatsoever and it's costing us games.
