Walking towards the Tavern after the game through a group of Hull fans awaiting their turn to get on their bus. Ignito, the Salford power ranger is walking towards the same group from the opposite direction. A Hull fan (well, a man wearing a Hull shirt if that's anything to go by) hands his placcy bag to his mate and sets off in pursuit of Ignito who has now passed by me. I turned around to see what this fella was going to do at which point lamps Ignito's giant foam head with a right hook. Immediately after another Hull fan from the aforementioned group gives Ignito a shove. At this point I immediately ran to the aid of our man along with about 4 or 5 regular shedites in order that he didn't kicked in. Just before Ignito got inside his room at the Weaste Lane end of the Willows another Hull fan appears and tries to take Ignito on... Funny little fella. Full of aggression and was slurring a largely inaudible pile of turd.

Like I say, not getting at your decent fans of which I'm sure are in the majority but if the steretoypes of Hull fans are ever going to be left in the past then these knobrots have got to be dealt with.

i can only aplogise for our " fans", buch of c*nts in my opinion......anywasy, afew beers and an away game makes me embarrased to be a fc fan at times.......

Not that I condone it, but it would have been funny if he went all Bruce lee on the Hull fans power-ranger stylee.

had a laugh with some hull fans in the Hope before the game. Like has been said, every team has some idiot fans, we've got more than our fair share!

Another "hardman" from Hull, I remember years ago playing in the U16s for Shaw and we played a team from Hull in this Final, and most of them had Beards, but every now and then they would punch some of our lot who were under 16 and the Hull blokes throught they were hard that day beating a bunch of kids 10 - 5, see nothing changes in 30 odd years.

Our coach was parked at the Weaste pub so never saw the aforementioned trouble but its idiots like this all teams can do without. I thought your mascot did you proud last night during the game got the away fans going but all in a good nature.
Never had any problems with the Salford fans in the Pub after the game, congratulated them on a good win then got on the coach thoroughly miserable
