Got to say this has lifted some of the gloom of the loses we have suffered so far.
For me Phil is an outstanding forward who more than makes his share of the yards and tackles, I honestly don't see why he is not more of a cult figure amongst the fans when we are crying out for one.
Now if we could just get some encourageing news on new signings we could be all looking slightly more positive towards next season than many of us currently are.

Good news that someone has that kind of feeling about the club....are you watching Ritchie and Jordan???
As for new signings, I'd like to see a few more lads come thru from the academy and get a go. I think our best player this year has been Ratchford by a long way and I feel that this is the way to go rather than go out and possibly waste some money on players with bigger reps than hearts.
afterall, isn't that what the 3 year licence is all about, bringing home grown talent thru and not doing a Hull and Warrington?

I don't think it's fair to compare the two players considering we don't know what contracts both players were on. For all we know Stapo could have been on twice the money what Big Phil is being paid? . .and maybe the club want to save some money to allow them to sign somebody else? |

I don't see your point about Hull as they have Horne x2, Hall, Yeaman, Lee, Radford, Washbrook, King, Burnett all heavily involved in their first team squad...I'd love a Salford team to have as many local first-teamers as Hull do. |
