32990_1435324474.jpg First accept sadness. Realise that without losing 70% of the time, winning wouldn't be such a relief.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_32990.jpg |

| Say’s it all really about how low Salford fans are and just how pessimistic everyone’s become after enduring blow after blow, year after year. At any other club this kind of rumour would develop into a 50 page thread.
The reality is there aren’t too many left who give two hoots anymore and ‘IF’ new owner(s) came in and said they were investing 15 million quid I doubt it would even raise an eyebrow with most. How ironic that the team would have made the playoffs for only the second time in history and the RFL impose a 6 point ban from 2014 that now looks like it could end in relegation and potential extinction. Personally I think the 3000 - 4000 that are staying away are simply doing it for their own sanity.

1602.jpg Sad preacher nailed upon the coloured door of time;
Insane teacher be there reminded of the rhyme.
There'll be no mutant enemy we shall certify;

| The critics who deride our support tend to come from teams who have had decades of success, or have little or no competition from football teams in their town. Wigan and Leeds fit the first, Cas and Warrington the second.
Our plight is similar to that of Huddersfield who are facing falling crowds and a increasing football competition.
So any interest from outside has to deal with that. You can understand a degree of cynicism of why would someone bother to invest: what's in it for them. The good Doctor is an enthusiast and so we can understand that. These names are not.
There are the many false dawns. I feel like a kid whose December 24th has become groundhog day: promises of presents that are always yet to be seen. So again I watch the tree being put up, the wrapped presents stacked in the corner, the smell of food being prepared; I know that I'll wake up tomorrow to see and smell the same things: the promise of tomorrow which never comes.
The issue is why I still attend: and I do.

I believe Koukash bought Salford for £1, mainly because Wilky wanted to get rid

A denial that Sale are buying Salford, but that doesn't rule out Ged Mason
(For those not familiar with that board Swanny is the the Customer Service Director for Sale Sharks and Dimes is the coach and another member of the board)

| I think Marwan is going to sell the club. Whether or not he actually gets anything for it or has to give it away for free will depend on salford retaining their superleague status.
Do Sale have a stake in the stadium? It would make sense owning both clubs that play out of it if they do.

A couple of points of order, I wouldn't say that Warrington fans are over critical of your support, we understand that it's tough going and the stadium relocation thing hasn't been handled that well, particularly by the RFL and the eligibility criteria that wasn't then applied across the board.
What football team do you have in your town? Yes I understand the lure of United and City but are you suggesting that no one in Warrington has a football team to follow?
Btw I hope you stay up and sort yourselves out
