Can anyone clarify what a Director of rugby actually does? With Tim Sheens arrival this week, it got me thinking what his duties would be on a day to day basis and what falls within his remit? With the lack of transfer activity, could it be that Sheens will oversee transfers and furthermore has Harris had his nose put out of joint possibly leading to his recent absence?

The Director of Rugby will have full control of the Rugby department and be on the board of directors at the club.

Sheens along with Harris or who is ever in charge towards the end of the season will locate target players and try and negotiate the best price for the club.

He should also been in charge of all disciplinary proceedings at the club.

If he is in charge of discipline I could see quite a few of our boys getting a not so nice clip round the ear next season, being head coach of Oz I'm sure he's well suited and hardened within this area plus who can really argue with anything he says. Can I jut clarify is he just over till the end of this season or is he ours full time now

As it stands now, until the end of the season.

In a recent radio interview in Oz, Sheens said he would be here for between 6 and 12 games maximum depending on how the season pans out.

Strange statement. If you dòn't make super 8s you have 11 games max. 6 games is half way through the 8s.
