| It's a real shame we had so many injuries and suspensions when we had what I'd consider so many winnable fixtures. It's hypothetical I know but without all the absentee's I think we could have been in 5th place now. Top 8 isn't impossible by highly improbable. I'd actually take 9th - 10th place right now with the advantage of an easier play-off draw.

| Do you guys think you can get 8th? It's not exactly far away. It's all there for anyone but Wakefield.

| I think we've left ourselves too much to do. Widnes have got a difficult run in and I expect them to not make the 8. KR run-in is similar to ours and our 2 games against them will have a big impact. If either team can win them both then they'll be in with a good shout of the 8. But Hull should win 2 of their last 5 meaning we'd have to win 4 of our 6 which is a big ask in our current form. It's doable but unlikely. If Hull can add a draw or a win to the 2 I've mentioned we've pretty much no chance, esp with our points difference
Even with the key players returning they will need a couple of games to get back to form and they don't have that luxury
The close losses against Hull and Cas just after the suspensions and injuries hit are the killers for us. We'd be 2 points clear in 8th pushing for 5th/6th if we'd won them

| We have to put some sort of run together but Wigan away has probably come at the wrong time. That said we do play teams around us so it could still be in our own hands, think the most disappointing thing this year that from the dizzy heights of beating Wigan at home and climbing to 4th in the table, we have imploded due to ill discipline, injury and of course the RFL's intervention. If we had our better players for most of the time we would be sat either 5th or 6th. Them's the breaks I suppose.

| hi guys been looking at the remaining fixtures and im feeling like we can really pull this one back, we sit 3 points outside the top 8 and have a good chance of doing it here are the fixtures and my predictions or targets
Fri 19 Jun 2015 20:00 A Wigan Warriors Super League Loss
Tue 30 Jun 2015 20:00 A Hull KR Super League Win
Sun 5 Jul 2015 15:00 H Catalan Dragons Super League Win
Sun 12 Jul 2015 15:00 H Hull KR Super League Win
Fri 17 Jul 2015 20:00 A Leeds Rhinos Super League Loss
Sun 26 Jul 2015 15:00 A Widnes Vikings Super League Win
i believe we will possibly get 8 from our remaining games and beating hull kr is crucial, widnes have played one more game than us and are only 2 points ahead, now is the time to get behind the players and your team as with a bit of a push from us i genuinely believe we can turn this around, we nearly have a full squad back with locke and lee remaining on the list but feel we have good replacements in place for them in evalds tomkins and hood, the comeback of locke could be a massive boost for the reds as no matter what some think when this guy is on form hes the best full back in super league and i believe the recovery from his knee will have done him the world of good, guys lets get behind the team and show why till easter we was a top 4 team !!!!!!!

| Four wins would put us on 21 points, which would also mean that Huddersfield and Castleford only need one win to be out of sight, and Warrington and Catalans two wins. You would imagine that in this scenario, only Hull FC and possibly Catalans (as we play them) are catchable. The issue is that Hull have still to play Wakefield twice, and Catalans also have a game against Wakefield coming up in Perpignan.
Of course, Salford can only look after their own results and Hull’s other fixtures are all quite difficult, but 21 points might not be enough.

When was the last time we beat the Pies at their place? Normally a defeat by less than 30 points is seen as a good result at the DW (or whatever it's called these days!)
I've said all along if final standings were based on quality of squad alone we'd be in the 8 no problem. Unfortunately, we've underachieved for the players (we've got (mitigating factors of course). Every time we play the likes of Widnes, HKR and Hull I think we're every bit as good as them if not better on paper but we just never manage to consistently beat the other "outsiders". Throw in our record against the "big 4" and you can see why we struggle to make the 8. I'd hazard a guess that we've rarely picked up more than 2 wins out of the 8 games played against Saints, Wigan, Leeds and Wire since the SL era began.

I rest my case! Considering Wigan haven't been "the" major force in RL since then that's a pretty p*ss poor effort!

It was always going to be a chance taking on Campese. Great player on his day, but injuries have taken there toll on him. Gives us a great boost with regards to our games coming up with HKR.
