Sam Rapira is coming to Super League next season. Who with ? Would he make a good signing ?

It could happen as Moz(retire), Tasi & Taylor in there last years so would make sense.

I imagine they will be queuing around the bloke to sign him up. It must be between us and Saints, as Mose is expected to return to the NRL at the end of the year. Ideal replacement for Morley though.

While I'm neither here or there if we sign Sam, it's possible with our batch of islanders, his Brothers time here, and our good relationship with the Warriors that it could happen. I can see Tasi getting a contract extension and Moz retiring so we'll deffo need a replacement prop. We'll have plenty of space under the cap too.

Has the rumour that Tasi is going to replace MM at Saints now finally dead in the water? Hope so as he one of the players who lifts the team when comes on the pitch and hits like the one he put on Carney the other weeks are exactly the sort of thing that should lead by example.

Tasi himself said it was rubbish.

I just think that the media have done the obvious thing and put 2+2 together and got 5.

We have to remember that EVERY player who moves, either side of the world, gets linked with us. Add in the fact that his Brother used to play for us and it's a done deal. The Tasi rumour started awhile back and he himself said it was turd. It seems to have been resurrected for this article.

I suppose we'll see.

I'd be trying to keep hold of Tasi and Taylor for next season.

Sam Rapira would be an excellent edition to the squad in replacement for Adrian Morley.

My main aim for for in the off season would be to sign a world class Hooker. I believe Tommy Lee is in the last year of his contract.

There aren't many of them around unfortunately.

Kevin Locke said on Twitter that he speaks to Sam Rapira almost daily, after the way he's been treated recently can you imagine him recommending us?

Why would Rapira a want to join Salford? He would be better off at Leigh ,a bigger Club , better ground ,bigger crowds ,and we WIN games. .

I'm beginning to believe this. Leigh are far more deserving of SL status than we are
