| Really looking forward to Friday night, big game against a top team where for the first time in a long time we are going into it with a few wins behind us. Hopefully it will produce a big crowd, sure Leeds will bring a load with them, so lets get behind the lads!
Any news on Locke, will he be fit? I know tasi will be back which will be a massive boost.
And will Leeds be without Sinfield? Not sure when the hearing will be after his headbutt......

| This game represents a real litmus test of our progression. three wins on the bounce two of which were away has really injected belief in the players and fans. We played Saints i think third game in after winning the first two...and we got thrashed. Hopefully we have learned and improved since then. It feels like we never beat Leeds (bar one away win a few seasons back. Win this and the confidence will soar.

| If Locke is fit does Evalds deserve to be dropped?

In the blink of an eye. Evalds has been fantastic and has been a great stand in, but Locke is different gravy.

| Just seen Locke and he looks very ginger with his groin and the exercises they were having him do.
It's nice too have such a good young back up in Evalds and also at a different time if we'd have signed Locke we would have risked him over the last two games and risked crocking him for a much longer period, it just shows for me the much more professional manner things are under the Docs people.
Will be nice too play Leeds and not be cacking it because of the pace they have at the back, we have the backs now too match that I just though worry about the forward power,
Cracking game either way.

| Have been watching Salford since the early 70s and can probably count the victories I've witnessed against Leeds on one hand. I'm confident about this one though. The way we are playing we'll give anyone a game and I thought we matched them for 65 minutes at Headingley. We are a completely different animal now as we have pace in the backs. Realistically, we can probably only afford one more defeat if we wanna make the eight. I'm hoping its not on Friday. Coyd.

Salford Red Devils RLFC.

| If were going to beat Leeds we need the intensity we've shown in spells for the full 80. Yesterday we didn't start until the second half, against Hull FC we switched off after 60 minutes so that consistency is the key. If we fall asleep against Leeds they'll punish us.

Salary cap - you're havin a laugh.: |
|
| Think it was Leeds away where our lack of pace was painfully exposed, despite a reasonable performance. Hopefully we can give them a decent game now we have made a few changes to the squad. Should be a decent crowd as well.

| It's only a five day turn around for us though and Leeds have had an extra 3 days to recover and prepare. That's a massive advantage for them.

| I think Josh Griffin and Matty Ashurst are in trouble though for their part in the brawl on Sunday? Both have been going great for us recently and any ban would be a big loss to us

| Early guilty pleas for them? Ashhurst is only a grade A according to the disciplinary article on the rfl site...though its reported as B. Egp will see them both right.
Tommy Lee is going to be a big miss I think, 2 charges so he's going to get a ban. He's been our only hooker for the past 3 matches, would have been nice to have him rotating with Tomkin's against Leeds...is Tomkin's even fit?

I wondered the same myself, look at getting him back for one game and for him personally what better chance too get himself firmly in the frame the obvious vacancy in the hooking role next season.
