| I just cant see him going anywhere other than Wigan. Far too appealing for him to play alongside Joel and Logan again, as well as returning the club he loves.
The real winner out of all this will be the club who pick up Ryan Hampshire as a result of Tomkins return.

32990_1435324474.jpg First accept sadness. Realise that without losing 70% of the time, winning wouldn't be such a relief.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_32990.jpg |

| I wouldn't be in the least surprised if he ends up switching codes. Sale Sharks with their 5.5 million salary cap and the AJ Bell awaits? Unless Tomkins takes a huge pay cut I can't see any SL club being able to pay his $750K - £390K per year contract without losing several big earners. One player on about 22% of the salary cap would be hard to justify.

| A dynamic player yes and would be a coup but do we need to aim our money at him bearing in mind we have Locke, Niall and BJB who all can cover full back very well.
Our aim for next year should be front row replacing Morley, Taylor and possibly Griffin.
As for anyone getting him under the cap, isn`t the much talked of marque player likely to be adopted this season?
If Wigan don`t want him Leeds are shifting some big money out of the club and must have their eye on someone. Hardaker must be sipping at the last chance saloon.
Finally if, sorry, when Leigh march into Superleague surely Tomkins will go there.

Hopefully he will return home to Wakefield !
You are right though, Hampshire is now ready to be playing SL week in week out and is too much of a talent to be sat in the stands.
I think there will be a lot of clubs in for him should Wigan let him speak to other clubs.
As for Tomkins I cant see him going anywhere else other than Wigan, Unless Union is on the cards?

While I agree with your sentiment I personally think we have more pressing need to fill other positions for next year. Predominantly in the forwards. We have an embarrassment of riches when it comes to FB and HB. The two positions that Tomkins plays. It wouldn't make a great deal of business sense to sign a star player on big money where we have class already in line, all the while leaving ourselves dangerously short in other areas.

| Nate Myles deal at the Titans ends this season, he would be immense for a year or two while the younger props we have brought in continue developing.

Very good shout, although on Zero Tackle they reckon he's going to re-sign with the Titans.

| Myles' wife is seriously I'll and has been undergoing regular treatment, no way Myles would leave Australia. He's also still a guaranteed start for QLD and Australia, no way he'd come to SL any time soon.
