| Just a thought and I do realise it would eat into the amount of interchanges we could use but would it be worth experimenting useing Feka for the first 10 minutes, spelling him for 10 then bring him back on for 10, spelling him for 10 and so on through the game?
I think personally it would allow him to really charge in and keep him on the pitch in full flight at all times.

| It's tough with Feka... Never quite understood why anybody would start with him... Playing him from the off when he is clearly off the pace at the best of times when the rest of the opposition are fresh as daisies to me leaves him vulnerable. Bringing him on 20 minutes in against players who have 20 mins under their belt somewhat serves as a leveller. I'd rather have him play at times in the game when the other players don't have to work harder in defence to compensate his lack of speed in defence.

| [iWhen our new coach is on board I'm sure he will get the best out of the big fella.
Without doubt 'Feka' has improved in recent games and I'm confident that will carry on in that vein.[/i

Good john wilky last looked out
on the pitch at salford.
when the snow lay round about
deep and crisp and even
brightly played the lads that night
though the frost was cruelllll
when poor swinton scored a try
we had 94urrrrrrrrrr:7891.jpg |

Danny, understand what your saying, but for me I'd personally start with him. What we tend to do at Salford is take all our meter makers off at once and it slows the play right down. 20 minutes in and Boyle, Cashmere and Godwin all come off for Jewitt, Feka and Sneyd and no offence to the last 3 named players it kills us because they arn't good enough and the play slows right down. Starting with Feka for me offers more from the start because he will start slow ( and more often than not the opposition will start at that standard if your props start slow) and when he comes on the game won't be brought down to his level, because it will already be at his level if you understand what I'm saying?

I do... and I certainly feel that there is an argument for both cases... I know that personally... when I see his trot on at the start I fear the worst... when he comes in against a tiring defence I feel a little more confident that he can hold up for his spell... I think the top and bottom of it is that we don't really know what to do with him for the best.

I can see what you are trying to say, but I wish you would have finished your schooling.

| I remember him coming on during the first half but can't recall him having any impact in the second half. It would have been a good move to perhaps bring him on when Bradford were looking a bit shaky after the Henry hatrick.

| Ste Nash - shouldn't you be thinking about improving your defence rather than posting on a fans forum. Keep on stealing a living whilst us thick salfordians pay for it !

Do you think there's a bit of an issue with team spirit here at Salford then?
