| What is stopping all super league games being played on friday and saturday night? They are always bangin on about boosting ratings and interest in the game and for me having beers during and after the game appeals! Who wants to start driving to Hull or Yorkshire on a Sunday afteroon for a 3.30 KO if it could be playes fri/sat and improve attendences....

Probably the people who don't want to go travelling to Hull on a Friday night for an 8:00 kick off when they don't get back from work until 6:00.

exactly night games do not conflict with the footy games and I know alot of rugby fans follow united/city. Evening kick offs surely get a better attendence than a sunday.......

| It's a tough call. Saturday would be the ideal day for everyone, but conflicts with the footie. Sunday means better away support but possibly less people combining it with a session. It certainly seems to be a great start to the weekend if all goes well, but personally I still think Friday nights are restrictive to home fans and very restrictive to away fans. We have probably lost quite a bit of revenue because of this.
It's each to their own I suppose. Just my view.

| I agree with The Butcher, I attend most Salford games and Friday night suits me fine. However, when it comes to away games I only go to Sunday afternoon games. The thoughts of doing the M62 on a Friday night fills me with horror. Hats off to the many Yorkie fans who do make the Willows for away games, but I'm sure it would be more if we had week-end afternoon kick offs.
The biggest pain of course is the 'mucking about' with kick off times and days to suit T.V.

| Couldn't care less either way I'll be there although Friday nights do tend to have a better atmosphere.

| the Rugby League will want games on all three days with only one game in the UK on Saturday.
the reason for this is newspapers and TV/ webbsites.
on Saturday evening/ Sunday mornibg will allways be small news on Sunday evening Monday morning there not reporting on has football games.

| My own personal opinion is i prefer Sunday matches. I'm restricted in the amount of Friday night away matches i can go to (basically every Yorkshire team and up untill this year Saints) due to transport issues and i can only have so many Saturdays off work. Sundays for me though aren't a problem. There's no transport or time issues. I'm sure there's a few people out there in the same boat as me.

Mate, I'm not sure if you've noticed but we're about 40 miles from the coast here. Might be better to stick to wheel based transport!

Widnes, Wigan, Salford, Leeds, Cas, Wakefield, London and both Hulls are accessible by canal barge.
