You'll not see or hear me say this often but this is brilliant by the RFL, will mean the first round of SL matches kicks off with a real bang, adds media exposure and also us a fighting chance of missing out on playing on the road for the Magic weekend and then traveling down to France the week later.
Did say the other day that I didn't expect the team to start with a bang due to the weather and conditions but what better chance of a hard fast dry pitch in February than under the roof in Cardiff.

Edinburgh was a failure, but the RL don't want to admit it, attendances down and very expensive hotels, does this also mean that there will be no expansion into Scotland for Super League?

Does each club get a share of the gate money?
If they do this is also an excellent idea from a financial point of view because it could attract much bigger crowds over the two days. I would imagine all clubs would welcome the money after no gate income over the winter.

Great idea. Played with the roof shut so the conditions wont play a part and the atmosphere will be great.
